Re:Any advice would be appreciated?
I think you played the hand pretty well, but I would certainly have re-shoved preflop. You had 20 BB which is ok, but it's standard for a big stack to 3 bet and see where he is. You want to think about getting it all in preflop because if you put him on AK, any board with AKQ will freeze you and you won't know where you're at. And if the board is great for you, such as 289, your action will be killed. No one is folding AK so you're best getting allin for a flip when the blinds are so big to your stack. He bet 22,500 into a pot of around 72,000 which in my eyes isn't a ...

Re:How would you play this hand?
This reply is only for point 2). I hear what you say, and I think every regular mtt player including myself wonders how long his/her downswing will last and how to make things right. Re:At what point do I just quit. This is really getting hard to take
Not really a bad beat IMO. You've called a raise in BB with an ace-rag which in my mind is risky - if the ace hits the board you don't know whether you're ahead or not. You need to reraise preflop or fold. Even worse, you've checked the flop, so when he c-bets you still don't know whether you're ahead. You could lead out to get rid of mediocre hands, or a reraise shove from him etc makes a fold an easy decision. He's called with 2nd pair as he probably doesn't put you on an ace (plus he committed himself terribly) as you didn't reraise preflop. It's ...
