I don't know.. if he sat'd into the $215s I wouldn't think anything of it. But to buyin direct to 3 $215s after 8000+ entries with a single $15 buyin as the next biggest entry seems peculiar. I could be off, but a lifetime $5 ABI losing player doesn't out of nowhere takes direct buy in shots to the $215s.

Is it weird to anyone that a career $5 ABI player over 8000+ entries can suddenly take 3 shots and bink a 6 figure payday out of nowhere' Just saying.

The withdrawal syndrome
Anyone experience this ever' Seems rather common for me. Whenever I make a withdrawal from my poker account, I inevitably hit a rapid downswing where I can do no right, no made hands hold and no draws get there. It's almost like punishment by the Full Tilt Poker Gods for pulling cash out of my kiddy pool. After a decent series of tiny scores to run up my BR lately, I made decision to not make a withdrawal.. and as luck would have it.. no doomswitch.. YAY! Then it happened. I transferred cash in a swap with someone out of my FTP and into my Pokerstars account. BOOM. Doomswitch ...

Re:Plo h/l hand...look plz
Don't get me wrong, limping with A2 is certainly ok. But if you only raise pre with A2, your table likely knows it. So mix up your p/f raises as well.

Re:Plo h/l hand...look plz
Well, bumping 3x to 1800 or pot to 2100 isn't a little raise pre... that way you are much less concerned with TT or 99 hands making it in. Then you can help narrow villains range to perhaps A3hhxx

Uh, any player, good player included, will be playing TT and 99 in a limped pot from the blinds in PLO8. Huh' You mean two pair.

Re:I do enjoy it when I see..
No question, I 100% agree with you. But really, is it entirely necessary to make it a point to proclaim themselves a vastly superior poker player to all the others that remain' Just say, "no thanks, gl".. or go ahead and be classless.

I do enjoy it when I see..
I do enjoy it when I see a final table, particularly a high buy-in with very big $$ at stake, where when down to 3-4 players there is always that one player who not only doesn't want to cut a deal, but makes it a point to proclaim themselves a vastly superior poker player to all the others that remain, and then proceeds to get SMOKED by the rest of the table.

Re:Legalize Pot or Internet Poker?
Frankly, I don't think it would be any more expensive than it is now, ~$400 a Z for sense. If it were legalized, and priced/taxed ridiculously i'd have to figure it would allow for a continued underground market with lower prices, and there will definitely still be an underground market. Thing is, already in Cali, you can buy seeds/seedlings/plants and grow at home (for medical purposes, obv). I grew pot in the 90s in an apartment I rented. If it were finally legalized in my state, I would 100% grow again. I'm an ex-cig smoker and I would never grow tobacco. It's not ...

Re:Folding AA here?
UTG Limp then a flat call and you put him on QQ or KK and maybe AJ' Really' Raise more on flop if you even wanna continue at all even though at $4 he likely isn't folding top pair. On turn, you are only beating air.

Pokerstars hand-replayer
Is it me or does pokerstars hand replayer only drive in 5th gear' When I want to watch the action on a previous hand, it plays so damn super fast and is far inferior to Full Tilts replayer. Just sayin

Re:HSMTTS: Line Check in the 2k SCOOP
I can't pretend to think at HS levels, but it doesn't make sense to flat you from the BB with A7 and possibly not 77 (and he'd probably pop u up if he's been splashing lately). I would think there would be more value to flat with 108 or 109, and both of those hands make sense to c/r the turn. After the turn call, i'm not disciplined enough to fold the river.

Re:Legalize Pot or Internet Poker?
Yup. I've smoked pot for 20 years. Never been busted or arrested. Never knew anyone busted for smoking weed. Sure, I know people harassed for smoking, but never jailed unless they were distributing or caught with narcotics. Pot has been an ongoing losing battle like forever. Complete waste of time, resource and taxpayer money. Jesus, just fucking legalize it already, tax it and fix our education system, health system and debt. Yet a MUCH more dangerous drug, alcohol, is mandated, mass produced, sponsored, promoted, etc.. and it holds absolutely no medical benefit other than to ...

Legalize Pot or Internet Poker?
Both of them are "illegal" but that doesn't stop those of us who buy/smoke pot or log on to play the pokahs.. ..but if only one of them can be nationally legalized and mandated in the US, which would you choose and why'

Re:$24+2 Rush Tourny's Please...
I don't agree here bro. They don't fill up because people don't sit around and wait for them to start. If they sat idle until they filled, they would run more efficiently. I have played a handful of the $11 & $26.. mostly the $11 because I can enter and it starts when it fills. I tend to not play the $26 ones because I don't feel like waiting for the hour to roll around, particularly if I just missed the boat. The $26 45/90 mans don't seem to have an issue filling. Why should the 135 mans even if they are indeed rushs'

I'm with OP.. please make this a fill-up and go and not a scheduled hourly. Don't understand the point of having $11/135 sngs and not have $24s.
