flopped quads, line check.
live satty, 40 players, 2 main event seats blinds are 25/50. i'm in the bb with 10 4, utg limps, 4 other limpers and i check. flop 10 10 10. weee. i check, utg makes it 175, everyone and their mother calls, i raise to 525. other info: utg is guy who has already gone all in the 3 hands he has played. tell me if this is the worst play ever. fml.

Getting it in bad is the best suggestion I've seen. That's the most frustrating thing to me - the better you're playing, the fewer the opportunities to suck out. You'll get it in good and you'll take bad beats. I was playing much worse the first big score I got - I should've gone out in 7th, but sucked out for the chip lead. I'm not saying I've been doomswitched forever - I'm saying that for the last month, I've depleted 70% of my BR playing (what I consider) pretty solid...with short bouts of COMPLETE mind loss and higher buy ins to try to satty into ...

Please someone tell me that I'm insane for believing that doomswitch is real. I'm getting it in good a million times and getting 1,2,3 outted like it's nothing. I have been consistently losing races (I know, it's "standard," but at some point losing 90/100 flips stops feeling so standard), losing AA to AK and A7, KK to AK, overpairs to sets, several runner runner losses. Going from chipleader to out of a tourney in three hands is getting annoying. Sorry for the whiny post, but I am kind of losing my mind with poker...and I'm going to Vegas for the WSOP with the ...

borgata wednesday at 11am got 300+ last week, the 7pm had about 270...and the next morning's tournament was decent from people staying over from the night before, and had 150+. the play IS horrible, but i've been the victim more than the villain in those tourneys, and i need to rewatch the "tilt fix" video about a thousand times before i play their tourney again. also, get there before 6:45. the line at 7pm on wednesdays is incredible, and i ended up just making it in at the end of the 2nd level after getting there at 7:05.
