An Airstream and a Dream! Making a living at live $1/$2?
IMO Airstream's are the nuts. I often have a variation on your dream, which instead of playing live $1/2, involves taking an Airstream to Tulum--2 hours south of Cancun--rigging up a high speed setup for online (this is getting easier to find down there), but mostly just drinking mojitos, rediscovering my ability to tan, and pursuing dark haired dark eyed women. My dream aside, GL GL, and def. post a blog. Also, polish that baby, and get the shiny look. Personal preference. Cheers. -Dan

Agree that could have popped it to $17, with maybe same result, maybe different. Figure someone is betting for me when I'm first to act, based on table behavior so far. Aggro old dude, doesn't disappoint and does in fact fire in last position. My mistake here I think is not 3betting, and assuming others fold and/or not being concerned (yet) at makeup of the board. Shipping here seems obv, but also drives out a "priced" gutshot...or at least I hope it does.

It's not as though I hated how I played this, but the end result is pretty much a big fat L in the WL column...So....is slow play awful' am I greedy' did I screw myself by trying to get max value, after being just hammered for 5 hours. or am I just awful' Scene: Live cash up in the donkey stomping grounds of Black Hawk, Colorado. $1/2 w/100 limit. I've been sitting for 5 hours, and losing flips. blah blah, boring bad beats. Biggest hand I've seen is QQ, 3x, and every time an A or K on flop with people betting into me. Dealt to Hero in small blind (KdKh) I have $120ish left ...

Vegas WSOP House Share?
I'm considering going out for WSOP for May 29- on. Getting a prelim. idea of what's avail. out there. Been scanning Craigslist, but curious if any P5 members are heading that way and have room avail. I'm not looking to party like the 2M2M crowd. In the poker community I'm old (30). Just need a place to kick back in between events that offers some peace and quiet outside of the hotel/casino atmosphere with a fridge I can stock with Colorado microbrews. Will be playing a lot of the $1000/1500's, and trying to grind into the ME. Prefer something close to the Rio, but will ...
