Sportsbook accepting US players
Hey guys, i've been playing mostly 3-6 limit live lately. I really enjoy the game of poker, and just wanted a way to continue playing after black friday. I'd drive an hour most saturdays, and play for a morning session. While the rake, food, gas, etc did not make these trips profitable, i continued to go because i thought it was my cheapest option to play the game i loved. Randomly, I discovered that is accepting US players and my visa card worked to deposit (I had trouble on Merge). Although the amount of players and stakes are lower, it just feels good to be able to play online ...

Performance enhancing drugs
Too big of a can of worms here. First off 50% of players would show up with THC. Secondly, defining "peformance enhancing" would be way to subjective. Question for the live regulars/high stakes online guys, how prevalent are drugs in poker'

Performance enhancing drugs
Not really looking for what the "best drug" is. Just curious how different drugs change your game and also how common performance enhancing drugs are in poker.

Performance enhancing drugs
I recently read an old article on P5's / , and it got me to thinking: How common are performance enhancing drugs in poker' As a follow up, please comment on your personal experiences and how they've changed your game. For me, I've taken adderall a few times and found it greatly enhanced my game. In fact, last weekend I won two tournaments while under its effects. My note taking and stamina were greatly improved. Also, I like to have a few alcoholic drinks as I get deeper in a tournament, to help me loosen up and go for the win. Thanks in advance, moe

River spot, what do you do?
I think villian shows up with a flush here a decent amount of the time. With that being said I am not folding here. Shoving river is likely my play.

Final Table advice?
sounds like there is really not much play left at the final table. At 10bb it becomes a real crapshoot, so don't beat yourself up too much for not winning. As for your play, the preflop raise is fine, perhaps only raise 10k next time though. Also, why did you feel obliged to call' You could have folded and fought another hand.

river call?
I fold as played; too much play left to get in here. However, I suggest checking behind on river.

TPTK on co-ordinated flop facing min raise
I agree, get it in here. KJ seems like possibility, but so is KQ. You already commited a good chunk of your stack on this hand as well.

aheggem, 50k
Let's raise our glasses to a man on a sick heater lately, aheggem. scored a 9k then followed that up 5 days later with a 51k score. All that while playing low volume on tournaments. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Keep grinding all - it's possible!

THE PROBLEMS I CANT SHAKE.
In addition to the previously mentioned bankroll discipline, I would focus on becoming a master of one particular game and grind the money out. When I used to jump from cash, to sng, to mtt, my results were poor. After focusing solely on mtt's, I saw improvements in the ROI. Best of luck

Re:Softest Game on Fulltilt
The 6 max 5 dollar rebuy at around 7:30' central time pm is pretty soft. Also, the 3 dollar rebuy 9 max tourneys are always equitable.

Re:JJ again, deep in 10KG Superstack on FT
I don't think strictly a mathematical view of this situation is sufficient. If he calls and loses he's crippled with less than 14 bb. If he makes the tough fold he has 40 bb left and can continue playing with a full arsenal in the tournament. Therefore, unless villian is super aggro, I fold and move on. His 4 bet screams KK or AA.

Re:what do they have here?
I don't like your line. A few things: 1. Why call the flop if you're just going to fold turn' 2. I think he shows up here with kq or random kings that it is a profitable call. Keep in mind it's an 8 dollar tourney, so I'm calling this shove on flop or turn all day.

Re:Deep in the super stack? 3 bet jam or call and play post?
Folding this is the nittiest play ever and negative ev. This is a clear shove. You are waaaay ahead of his range here. Also, you really don't have enough chips to play with post flop. What are you going to do when an overcard comes and he bets into you''''

4th place for 831 dollars. Nice work man - keep it up. I will warn you that most don't play their best after making a big score. They become complacent and don't pay attention to the tables. Don't let this happen to you!

Re:Tough spot against regular in 25k
I am never folding this here. A seven is not in Yanni's range (unless 77) and there are no real draws that he could have hit. 33 and 66 he folds on flop. Therefore, I say we're up against aq, or KK and I call.
