Looking for advice on a Live cash game hand 5/10
Any time you can say this "I don't have a lot of information on the villain bc I'd only been at the table for about an hour" bluffing with your entire stack is basically like setting money on fire. Also, him 3-betting your button once before is not a pattern.

4 days with no response from carbon support. Will i ever get my address change?
I might suggest checking out the dedicated Carbon section of that other forum. There is at least one CS rep that regularly posts there and generally helps expedite things like this along. Account verification generally seems to take a bit of time, though, so I don't think 4 days is long enough to start freaking out about it.

Honestly I stopped reading when you min-raised an open and a flat.. pot it there. As played, fold the river.

Lock or Carbon
Actually, within the next 24 hours Carbon and Lock will no longer be on the same network. Lock is joining with Cake to form a new network called Revolution Gaming. It's still somewhat unknown what impact this is going to have on the respective networks' MTT schedules. You should be able to find a recent thread that outlines Lock's MTT schedule with guarantees. That being said if you were in Australia you should probably have other options, unless of course you already play on those sites and are wanting to mix it up with some Yanks.

AA UTG, 3-bet pot Pre, M-way. Better to 4-bet or Flat, Early stages 38 BB effective.
Blinds are 40/80, so this is only a 2.5x bet, not 4.5.

Flatting OOP and putting in the 4-bet are both pretty strong, so I lean towards going ahead and raising to ~1200 and give them the opportunity to do something stupid if he so chooses.. if we were in position I would be more likely to advocate a flat.

Running bad ?
I think you should have mentioned this in your first post. I assumed you were running in the red, not under expectation. I haven't played any significant amount of cash online pre- or post-BF, so I can't really speak to how hard the games were or are, but the general consensus on this and that other forum seems to be that the games are tougher now, esp. at whatever stakes you are likely playing. So my gut reaction is that while you might be running below EV over a good sample size, you're not in as bad of a place as you think you are. But I am sure you can find someone here or on that other ...

Running bad ?
First of all, I think anyone saying they should be making x amount of $ over any short period of time(and yes, in poker, is still a pretty short period of time) is absolutely the wrong mindset. I have to wonder, since you're working full-time, how many hands are you putting in compared to when you played full time' Because when talking about running good/bad, it's absolutely about numbers of hands played and not about any particular period of time. And one important question I think you should ask yourself -- is the fact that you have a full-time job and not relying on poker as your primary ...

Private sit & go question
You can definitely create your own leagues on Hog Wild Poker, and I am relatively certain that you can make them private. Plus P5s hosts a league on there, so it has that going for it.

$1-$3 NL Aria Hand
While I definitely think we have to be willing to play for effective stacks on this flop with that hand, I don't like the overbet shove because we lose out on value when opponents have hands like AJ/QJ. That being said, you got the stacks in the middle, so you can't have played it all that badly. And generally, is best to post your hands without results, as it will get you much better feedback, as above it just tends to seem more like a BB post.

AQs 32bigs facing CO sqz (52bigs)
We could possibly flat if we would have position postflop, but that's not possible here.. 4b/folding is pretty gross with this stack, so it's either push/fold.. and I would very strongly lean towards folding without a stronger read that villain is capable of making this play light

I'm confused, hero has neither AQ nor is his hand suited. I also don't see a squeeze play here.

The reason is that Paypal makes it relatively easy for the person sending to reverse the transaction for P2P transfers and most often side with the sender. So it's relatively easy for people to scam that way. I'm not sure if there is anything in the rules here, but I know 2+2 expressly prohibits paypal xfers on their trading forum.

99 early in MTT
First you need to include some more info here.. the sizes of the stacks in relation to the blinds are very important in deciding what you should do preflop.. because the way you describe it here the size of the pot on the flop is the same as the size of your stack which means you had < 20 BB preflop.. in which case we shouldn't be flatting with anything, should either be shoving or folding preflop.. as played, what is your raise on the flop meant to accomplish' If MP just put in half his remaining stack on the flop, he is definitely not folding to your shove.

AKs EP early in MTT
In smaller stakes tournies it is definitely fine, I think.. people who are going call are going to do it regardless of what you bet.. but the standard for most mid-stakes and up these days is closer to 2-3 BB, and unless we're comfortable raising this amount with all of our raising hands, this bet is going to give away the strength of our hand

12 left 10 pay AQ reraise all in 6 handed after a big stack raise.
What kind of tourney is this' Live or online' B/C online this is a super standard reshove all day long.. if this is a local live tourney, I am more likely to fold in this situation, as most players in these kinds of tourneys are going to play super tight around a bubble, esp. if you say that the standard is for the FT to chop the monies.. so I probably lean towards a fold here, and look for a spot where you can open ship it after the blinds pass you.. I would rather open-ship a lighter holding, as these players are much less likely to call anywhere near correctly.. than I would to re-shove ...

Bad call on river.
Seems fine, but you should be c-betting here on the flop.. and in the future, you will get better advice if you don't spoil the results of the hand.. such as Minraise KTo in LP, button calls.. flop 994.. check check.. turn A.. check check.. river A.. I check, button bets 1/2 pot.. '''

AKs EP early in MTT
Was this a live tourney' If so, preflop sizing is fine, but if online, the standard is usually lower, 2-3 BB. You should be betting this and betting it often. I c-bet this flop even without the NFD, bet the turn, and bet the river against most livedonks who are going to overvalue their one pair hands, and check/call against most others to give them the opportunity to spew missed draws.

Bluffing a random on a super dry board...
I think I just said this in another thread, but at these stakes, bluffing is just something you never really need to do in order to make a profit. There will be plenty of people trying to get you their money, no need to give it away. That being said, low-stakes games like this can be a good place to experiment with bluffs and learn what kinds of board textures are good for bluffing -- this one is not.

how do you proceed with pocket 1010 in the bubble?
3b seems about right, a little bigger when you're looking to be oop postflop is a good rule.. flop seems pretty good for your hand, so bet ~ half pot and go from there. Better question is what you do when you c-bet and get raised imo

Bubble FT spot of 1.35 KO turbo
Hand 1, c-betting is fine if it's your standard play, even though you hit you hand pretty well.. if you're going to check, I think you need to raise.. once he's shown interest in the pot, check/call the turn and re-evaluate the river Hand 2, super easy standard shove

HogWild Poker Official Support Thread - USA Welcome
So while I understand that while this site is still relatively new, and a free site, I have to complain about tonight's monthly freeroll. While in previous levels the ante had been ~10% of the small blind, at the 7500/15000 level the ante was 1500, the same as the small blind. As the largest stack in the tournament at this point wasn't even 20 big blinds, this was pretty devastating to most stacks. It's terribly frustrating to have played all month to qualify for this tournament, make a good run in this tournament, have a decent stack, and get it anted away over the course of a level. This ...
