way to leave out the first part of that paragraph where it starts with "IF there are no witnesses..." when bolding. I pointed out something with respect to the case, and then a PERIOD followed. and i continued with "So, no witnesses, so on, so forth" to continue with my hypothetical. not overlapping anything. sorry to have thrown you off by inserting zimm's name tho. i was simply asking, to get a response. So to go on with this, my point is, and why I thought the law had some flaw in it, is that it allows for an easy way out. am i wrong in assuming so' And i've asked this plenty of times ...

lol reading comprehension. I was throwing out a hypothetical in regards to our discussion about this law you know so much about. I'm not talking about this specific situation in particular. Hence the first sentence in my paragraph. "IF there are no witnesses..." what happens when somone uses this law as their defense. The only reason I even mentioned Zimm in this paragraph was to point out where others ITT used his injuries as logic that his life was in danger and hence asking where is the line where it's considered reasonable. now comprende' was simply asking you, if there are no witnesses, ...

not claiming to have a better idea. just asked, if there are no witnesses, and a stranger went out, shot someone, had a cpl maybe lumps or bruises coming out of it' (this is also where i'm asking, how do you prove that ones life was in danger) a lot of ppl ITT kept trying to point out extent of zimm's injuries in claiming his innocence. so no witnesses, but stranger goes out w a gun, end result, he killed someone, claims "my life was in danger", cpl bumps n bruises. He's good to go because no one knows what happened' Just need clarification, as I obv don't know enough on the law itself.

pretty grey area ain't it' Perception of whether or not ones life is in danger'' who decides' differs from one person to another. also, pretty easy defense with that SYG law ain't it' no witnesses. "my life was in danger" well then, in that case, not guilty. you think there's no prob with this law'

I'll be the first to admit, no proof whatsoever, however I did think the same thing that Pluv did. I've thought that for a while now ever since I've seen the increase in # of on ice/court/field deaths over the last little while. We never heard it being this prominent until recently, especially in kids. That being said, there def is an underlying factor that certain ppl are born with (congenital heart disease) recently a cardio i visit has ruled that as a possibility because of struggles i'm going through and he's explained things like hockey, sudden surge type sports, are things to take it ...
