LP Limping With big PPs...Has anyone noticed???
Has anyone noticed this happening more, it's busted me a few times when I'm in the blinds with a good stealing hand...it doesn't seem like a very standard play, but I've been seeing it more and more lately. Anyone Else'

Re(10): Does variance go against why we play in the first place?
It also seems that the best players control when they make these types of decisions for their tournament lives. By choosing when to make the coin flips or play hands for most/all of their chips, don't they minimize the variance they encounter' I'm not saying you can avoid variance, but I think the best players (not me) maintain a level of control over these types of decisions, giving them an edge. I guess it's just another skill in our games to evaluate and (hopefully) acquire.

Re(1): LAG play (the specifics)
This post isn't about me attempting to win a 50+R...it's about trying to learn more about the game and exploring other styles of play, so that I can not only mix up my own play, but better recognize the play of the others at my table. Thanks for the help tho.

LAG play (the specifics)
I'm interested in learning a bit more about the loose-aggressive style of play. I've scoured the internet and haven't been able to find much. "Phil Ivey Experiment" post in the archives is the best I've found so far. But I would like to know more. I know that reading your opponent is a big part of this style, and I feel that it might help this part of my game to experiment with it in some low buy-in tourneys. The problem is...I'm don't really understand the details. See a lot of flops, chop away, these things i know, but what kind of hands should I be playing' How do I disguise my bets' How ...

Pokerstars $50+$5 [1 re-buy, 1 addon]
I'm currently playing in the $55 tourney with 1 re-buy and 1 addon. Any thoughts on re-buying'' Should you do it at the beginning, like regular re-buys, or should save it for later in case you go out' Thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated, b/c it seems like a fun type of tourney to play, and I'd like to play more of them in the future. Thanks, Mouser1299
