Re:Poker players may be ratted out by banks It relates because banks have not paid attention to the governments request to basically spy on accounts. Now they are. The UIGEA will require banks to report anything abnormal to the proper agency such as online gaming transactions. I had request my D/L number and SSN# last week when I wanted to withdrawl money and they have never asked for that info before. I asked why and they would only say that "it was for id purposes only". This will be happening at every online gaming site, including poker sites. So this article that I gave to the link to applies becasue this is exactly the ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Mothers just don't understand... IMO you should concentrate on school and once you get a degree, then you can decide what you want to do. I don't blame her one bit for being concerned. If it were your son, wouldn't you worry too' Wouldn't you want your son to finish school first before starting a poker career' I think she is being a good parent and you need to respect her wishes. Just my two cents. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:$200 bankroll-need advice on managing it properly. HELP !!!!! You and I seem to be in the same boat. Here is an article written by Chris "Jesus" Ferguson on starting from zero with some rules that I think every player should adhere to. Hope this helps and stay patient, it's a long road. Re:Sit and Go turbo question Thanks for the advice and respones everyone! I'll tell you what, my experience here has been alot different this last week than it was when I left here in january (I thought for good) :) I use to avoid turbos like the plaque and just play regular ones. I had pretty good success at the regular ones, then got on the ice wagon and couldn't hit water if I fell out of a boat. My BR took a good hit but I've hung in there and I'm trying not to deposit. My BR is down to $130.00 :( I know it's not impossible to get back to the higher levels but I know I have a long road. Hmm, ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Sit and Go turbo question I've been playing the $2 18 seat turbo's on FT and it's been kinda break even after about 100 or so games. Is this because there is very little skill involved in these because blinds rise so fast or is there away to get an edge in these' I'm thinking maybe getting away from turbo and just go normal blind struture if there is such an animal. Thanks Craig Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Payments from Full Tilt are getting shakey I don't post here often (for good reason), but, I need to know if anyone has had a bad check (bounced) from Full Tilt. A friend of mine cashed out three weeks ago and still no check, and another friend of mine got a check that bounced. Could this be that FT is moving money to a safer place in fear of our gov' Now I know of FT to be in good financial standing in the online poker business, but could this be a sign that the industry is failing. I'm not sure what to make of all of this. I've also been reading other forums that suggest that even the online sportsbooks and other gaming ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Cashing out That depends on you and how much bankroll you want to have available. Realistically, you should be playing 2.5% of your bankroll for tournaments and no more than 5% for ring games. For example, if you want to be playing $100 + fee tounaments, you should have about $5,000. At anytime you make it past that mark, you could just pay yourself. Anything below that you just adjust. such as you drop to $4,000 (easily done I might add), you really should not be playing anything over a 75+fee buy in. In short, just determine what levels you are comfotable at playing and then when you go over your set ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Anyone here use Tournament Updater from Pokerlabs.com? I just bought this thing, got it working and then couldn't get it to update Full Tilt tournaments. I emailed support a week or so ago and they said that FT updated their software and that it would be a few days before they could get it to work again. I have emailed them twice in the last few days and I get no response. Does anyone else havethe same problem' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): Please give me Advice!! I going Crazy ... 45 man Sng .. I thought for sure when I looked at your profile you would be from a country other than the U.S. You live in freaking New York, learn some proper grammer. Pretty much I'll echo what most have said here, don't move up unless you have the proper bankroll. If you want a good article in bankroll, read Chris Fergusons on Full Tilt Zero to 10,000. Some very good guidelines. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
