Always put the schoolwork ahead of poker. You will find yourself skipping classes or not doing your work because of tournaments you want to play. Also, MTT's take many hours to play and that effects life in general. just remember only a handful of people can actually make aliving playing this game

Headsup Tournies on Stars
was playing the 20+2 Headsup tournament last night and what I found weird was that like 20 people got byes into the second round. Why doesnt stars just pair those 20 up instead of letting them get byes' isint that kinda unfair to just go straight to the next round' just curious

dunno if this has been posted yet at a 25/50 NL table last night a pokerstars staff member asked ADZ what he thought about a cash game winner take all and the hand replay was to be shown following the match. He also said that Negreanu and other pokerstars members might participate. ADZ liked the idea as did vROUNDER and i think mesmerizeplz but they were a little uncomfortable with their hands being shown later. What do you guys think about this idea'

thanks for the story. hope for all the best man, get a decent job and then you can play poker while actually having fun. If you have a steady income and just play poker as a side without worrying about your bankroll is probably a better feeling then having a large chunk of your roll with you at the tables. i was in macau this summer and there is really nothing much to do for nightlife. The casinos are great but they are a good distance away from each other. The games run are mostly baccarat. The Galaxy has texas hold em but it is computerized. The games are extremely soft the last time i played there. Hong kong is a great place for nightlife and clubs. go to lan kwai fong and check it out cuz its the place to go at night. The ferry to and from macau is also cheap and only takes about an hour.
