$1,000 into $200,000....doable?? I have been playing poker for about 3 Years. I play poker only as a hobby, I am not a professional poker player, nor do I ever aspire to be one. Online, my greatest success came at Party Poker last year. I played under the screen-name Fukken_Eh. My game was 10-20 NL 6 M I would guess that I was one of the top 20 NL players on Party Poker in 2006. As most of you are aware in October of 2006, President Bush signed a bill (Safe Port Act) into law making the online transfer of funds for internet gambling illegal. Party Poker quickly restructured, closing all American’s Poker Players accounts and ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Pocket Fives Ranking problem JohnnyBax held the #1 spot for a long time, and in my opion he held that spot not just he played poker well, because of how he represented the #1 player. He always was cordial, classy and represented himself and this site well. TMAY420 (whom i never played with before today.) is not the same type of guy. Playing in the PCA Double shootout, I make a move to steal as a short stack cripple with K4dd and the big stack calls with TT. Flop K 4 5 4...... Re(2): Play a hand with me #2 Because he is drawing in a multiway pot, to the straight (double belly buster), out of position when a flush can be made. So instead of his outs being 8, he is essentially drawing to 6 because the two heart cards which complete his straight. The out of position part, hurts him because even if he hits one of his 6 outs it will be very difficult to extract maximum value for the hand, because he is going to be first to act on the river. Unless he wants to get cute and try for a check raise on the river, which might not be possible if it is checked around. Also, because he is out of position ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Play a hand with me #2 Raising 109s as a change up in a full ring game, is quite appropriate. Doing it all the time is not. However, drawing on this board in your postion is -EV, no matter how you try and justify it. Not being a jerk, just stating the obvious.. Im sure your the master and all however the way you played this hand is a leak. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): New take on an old game theory thing...try this With that knowledge, the button should raise the pot to 1800 straight. That raise makes it so that no matter what two cards the BB holds, he will be making a mistake to call. However the BB is Marco Traniello and is the smarter than the button and he holds KK, the flop comes Q 66 and the button bets 3000, however since this is the game of life and gamblers ruin can only occur when his chips = 0, and Traniello realizes that his opponent has him covered, and will not be ruined when the miracle king hits the turn. BB should re raise the flop all in.. cause that way no one gets hurt... and ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I went into the tank and finally made the call figuring he had KK, there is no way he had QQ, by pushing here is my logic. He showed KK, my AA was 10 to 1 going into the turn.. when of course he hit the miracle 2 outer on the turn because he was so deserving to double up early, he has to follow his wife around around the globe and play tournament after tournament. Re(2): Question For ActionJeff How many chips does Danneman have and how many chips does Hachem have at this point in time ' Very difficult not to call the all in with 2 overs and nut flush draw here, depending on how many chips Danneman has and Hachem has, pot odds may be dictate the call is mandatory here.. looks like Hachem had a dead read and knew he was up against a monster, and his A and K were no good. I go broke, or double up here.. guess why Hachem is WSOP champ and I busted in 6 hours. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): Dreamclown vs Daniel Negreanu Round 3 Oops. I just posted that I felt Daniel sitting out on Dreamclown was wrong. I just realized that Dreamclown was the exact same person who sat out on him, when he got Daniel short stacked and wanted him to reload in their fist match. I thought it was somone else Daniel played and not Dreamclown. So I retract my statement to Daniel that it was wrong sitting out on this kid. Well played.. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(6): Letter from Steve Lipscomb I like the part of the letter where he states that the WPT has yet to make money... What a freaking joke... they have barely any overhead, and they cant turn a profit with this thing.. probably because executives like him drawing too big of a salary.
