WSOP MAIN softest starting day? Which starting day do you all think was/is the softest' My friends and I have debated a bunch about it. I thought the best answer i've heard so far was that the later days would be the easiest since the average player would wanna come in and be in vegas for the least amount of time possible. I was going to play day 1D cause of this but they locked it out so i regged for day 1 C and both day 1 and 2 in this group had some pretty soft tables I ended up on. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Turbo STT downswings - what should I do gotta keep playing volume...i had a good year in 08 when i played a TON of sngs on stars but there was a few times where i went on like a 25-30 buyin loss...obviously thats a major extreme but those swings can happen...if you're finishing 3rd and 4th a lot it sounds to me like you arent being aggressive enough around the bubble. try opening a few more hands or rejamming a few more hands in ur next set of like 50 sngs and see if your results improve Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:AK early in tourney.. continuation? i see that this is a rebuy tournament' assuming that with the "adds 1500" if so i never c bet in a rebuy tourney during the rebuy period cause its so easy for them to call + with a hand as big as ak if they missed, you're likely to have them dominated, so i check to hopefully hit and cooler them on later streets....also might try being a lil crazy in a rebuy and raising every hand u play like 8x...start making bigger pots n it easier for u to get all in and double during rebuy period. UB WARNING! / brag post in the admist of going back to back in thier ap/ub 1k on thursdays we were sitting 5 handed....and all of a sudden 3 of 5 players were mysteriously disconnected.. No contact from ub, and all 3 of us were unable to connect for at least 15 mins at high blinds....carefull on UB ya'll they just cant protect thier site for anything and even worse they dont care to respond or help. MrCasino WELL HERE IT IS GUYS THE STORY that cause 20 pages..... I was going for supernova elite this year. By slacking off in the early stages of the year i was playing many 12-14 hr days of 10 tables + in sit n goes. Because it was such a huge load i decided to have a friend play on my account a few times to help me earn some points. Stars saw this and "warned me" saying that it is against the rules....well a couple months later I did the same thing n they caught me and suspended me for 3 months * i Know I KNow im an IDIOT* ...so that is why i haven't been on, i was currently suspended ... 100 r final table Hand 6 handed, i start with 100k in chips, 4 other stacks have 60-80k and chip leader has 140k... blinds 1500/3k i open to 8225 with QQ, ive opened a lil more than the others, but not a bad image...the bb calls with about 80k. flop is 235 and he leads out 12k, with 62k behind.....how do you guys play qq here' i decide that his lead out is complete air or a hand trying to find out where he's out like 77, 88, 99...so i decide to flat to win a big bet off of him on the turn, or make him commit the pot n stack him....the turn brings the death 6....so its 235, 6 now...and he leads 21k...leaving ... Re:I heart Battle of Planets (Brag post) wrong whoever said 6 max dont..the point system is equal..although its less pts for a win like 36 or wahtever it is....it is a higher % that youll win it...i have won or got top 3 in the leaderboard almost every week and i play a mix of 10s, 9s, 6s.....if you want the most pts, i guess 10 gives u the highest score chance...but at a lower %.. but like i said i mix it up...so in a high orbit ( 100 ) i probably play 70 100s, 15 9 mans, 15 6 mans Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Question on how to play AJ??? one more thought i disagree with earlier post that your call on flop was questoinable and turn call good...i think your call on flop is GREAT...you have a draw to the NUTS for cheap...not only is it the nuts, but itll most likely make someone else in the pot a 2nd best hand thatll pay you off for a double up...and on the turn you should fold....its possible one of these players has KQ and you hit your K and are drawing dead, most likely an ace isn't an out anymore *( if it was at all ) Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Question on how to play AJ??? its early on , 30 bb...i play all my hands at this level to double..therefore limping behind to hit a moster like AJx flop or QTK is not a bad idea....by limping you allow the fish with A8, AT, a5 to stay in....i agree with the others a raise is a good idea, but thats usually later when its a good pickup to pick up all the limpers + antes, or to iso hu and steal the flop...but lets look at it..say u raise it to 120 or 150 ( 4 or 5 x bb cause of limpers ) well then now your pot is 350, you've just made any inferior ace fold, and now you steal on the flop, or you flop an ace, and you get ...
