Re:CTS vs Isildur1 HU 300-600 Yeah, the kid mentioned that he was down 1 million to him before coming back and winning 500-600k. Posted in: Poker Community |

Re:dur vs isuldur starting up Aha, ok... I have even more respect for the kid then... I thought he actually let PA talk him into 2 PLO tables while he was tangled with Ivey and Durrr. I still think it's a horrible decision to play all three, as evidenced by the fact that Durrr got the better of him and so did Ivey, even though he bested Durrr in NLH before when it was just him, but still, not bad. Are they still taping for HSP' How many days are they doing' Posted in: Poker Community |

Re:ISILDUR VS IVEY Alright, I've gone to bed and woken up... still 6-tabling durrr, that's sick. I can't believe the kid (my new name for him, Islidur1 is too much to type from now on, and 'the kid' just seems so fitting) decided to play Ivey, PA and Durrr all at once, that was ego.... he wanted people to be in awe of him... one question, to be certain, were the two games w Patrik PLO or NLH, any that is still up know' Posted in: Poker Community |

Re:CTS vs Isildur1 HU 300-600 I believe Isildur1's greatest weapon is that he has even less respect for money than his best opponents, as sick as that is to imagine--that is the only way he can lose almost 3 million to Patrik, and turn around the next day and be up over a million playing Cole at 6 tables. The kid must have ice-cold blood in his veins... mental toughness almost unmatched. Posted in: Poker Community |

Re(2): FTPDoug, any insight on this issue? Edals, I actually agree with you on just about everything you said (except I am pretty sure that he is not one of their pros), so my post is not to point out something PA is doing and call it wrong, it is simply an inquiry on FTP's policy, whether or not it still exists in the form I thought it did. Namely, that a player is not allowed to create more than one account, now sure, he may no longer be using the old one, but I just wanted to confirm that under certain circumstances, a player may be allowed to close one account and open another (and just what those circumstances may be, since ... Re(2): ... I don't believe it can be Townsend because FinddaGrind sits at the highest limits, all the time, including HORSE, and Omaha 8 or better. However, speaking of sbrugby, he admitted in his blog that he has been playing under a different name at the lower stakes... so that's a confirmed case of a player playing under a second account name--i just don't get it, has FTP actually changed their policy on this issue, or are these players in fact doing something wrong but FTP just turns a blind eye to its biggest players' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

FTPDoug, any insight on this issue? The High Stakes Report website has FinddaGrind as being Patrik Antonius, has this actually been confirmed' If so, I thought after Benyamine got his own account name & avatar, FTP no longer allowed players to create a second account name' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Pokerstars Wishlist "I wish they let you change screennames every so often" I AGREE!!! Every 6 months would be ideal... Edit: I've actually e-mailed them about this more than once in the past, but while seemingly appreciative of the input, they remain stubborn on the issue. My argument was this; PokerStars has become far and away the LARGEST poker 'room' in the world, running a hundred times more tables than the largest B&Ms, so while allowing players to remember their opponents is a tribute to that practice in live poker, when playing live, we can choose to play at a poker room half way around the ... Neteller 'Release'?!? I just noticed this among their updated FAQs; "What is the Release' When US members request to withdraw the funds they will be asked to agree to a Release which, in broad terms, is an agreement between NETELLER and the member that each releases the other from potential legal claims. US members do not need to agree to the Release in order to request and receive the payment of funds. However, US members who do not agree to the Release will, in turn, not be released by NETELLER. " Almost sounds like a threat, any legal experts out there have any idea what the significance of this might be' I ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(5): Where's that atomic clock? Umm, he didn't say do whatever you feel like, and damned the consequences; he said that you shouldn't be overly concerned with the potential of a problem, especially if you cannot control whether or not that problem will even arise. In other words, don't fret over things that are out of your control. If more people followed that advice, there'd be a lot fewer depressed or unhappy people in this world. C-Bet Sizing Taylor, First off, thanks for taking the time to make this video for the P5s community, (& sharing all that bandwidth). I have a question about the sizing of your continuation bets; I notice that in virtually all of your videos, this included, your continuation bets are always a very healthy percentage of the pot size, say 75-85%. Would you elaborate on the pros & cons of such sized c-bets vs say 50-65% of the pots, when it comes to flop texture, # of opponents in the hand, and/or opp's stack size relative to the pot, or your stack' On a side note, I'm curious about the psychology ... Re(8): Open Letter to Bodog It's kind of like this; baby, you're the ONLY one for me.. except when I'm out on business, then I visit Trish, and when you're at your sister's, I go across the street to see Amy. But I only love YOU! hehe Ahem, anyway, I think a lot of sites are having trouble shuffling, looking for payout options which will be reliable & efficient.. look at UB. In this day and age, you kind of have to cut them some slack... no need to threaten to dump them for that hot chick at work, that'll just make Bodog despise you, and stop returning your phone calls. ;) Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Anyone know how to sue PokerStars to release my money? FourEyedJacks, The reason that they will not unfreeze your account, and let you access your own funds (less the transfer amount) is because they are trying to determine if you conspired to work with this person for the purpose of 'laundering' his money. In other words, if this person got the $200 via a stolen credit card, they want to make sure you're not his right hand man, trying to extract it... so if you ARE in fact clean, you should just be patient, otherwise, you should expect to eventually have your own funds confiscated. Questions which will help determine if you're legit, or a ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Software is much improved I, for one, can vouche for their current software; I was among those who first joined up about a year ago, and found their software glitchy, & their customer service slow to act, but since then they have gone through a whole lot of upgrades (more than i would have expected), and their software is WAY better than it once was. They just need more people to try it out & get games going. Actually a few weeks back they tried to get the ball rolling by sending out an e-mail to everyone suggesting a date and time to come online to get things going on a larger scale, but they only gave people ... Re(1): Funny post about Phil Gordon... I certainly don't know the guy personally, but from everything I've seen, it looks more to me that he is socially inept, as opposed to a real 'arse'... basically, the complete opposite of a personality like Negreanu when it goes to interacting with people. I wouldn't be surprised if he were an only child (no knock whatsoever, but i've found that only children usually have far less experience dealing with others and so often come off rather akward/strange) Posted in: Poker Discussion |
