Flatten WSOP main event payouts?
Agree with Wicane 100% and I have gone deep twice. If you hit the money you should at least make $20,000 for a min cash. 1 million or better to all at Final Table too. I think a $2 mill gap betwen first and second is about right, then spread it out from there. 10% of the field getting paid is perfect.

Do you call off here with AK suited? 1.5k Pot Limt WSOP
With your stack size and the action in front of you you should be licking your chops to pot it in position preflop and pick up the dead money or welcome a chance to get the rest of your stack in against one opponent. Most likely one of the two older guys will fold. You can't call off $450 and then fold AK suited leaving yourself $2550 in chips..I am going broke here everytime preflop with a smile on my face...You were 1/2 of average to start the hand with 20 BB....what exactly were you waiting for'

Re:SCOOP tourneys TOO long???
I thought I was just too old and the kids loved these bullshit structures. I think the long events suck and I will probably only play a select few 2 day events or some of the turbos. How about 5K in chips and 20 minute levels or 10K in chips and standard 15 minute levels. Everyone is used to playing 15 minute levels anyway. The huge guarantees will draw the players not the 30 minute levels. I think Stars is losing a ton of players in these events due to the slow structure. Nobody with a job or family can play 20 hours and perform reasonably well. PLus who wants to sit on their ass for 20 ...

I just closed the table and reopened it and it worked fine after that. I missed like 3 hands in a row before I figured out what to do.

Re:Petition to Improve Super Tuesday
Agree with Kevin...the payouts stink, but the satty's are worse, The only good one is the $126 no rebuy on Tuesday afternoon. And while I'm at it...the hyper turbos are the worst thing I have ever seen. They totallly suck and I refuse to ever play one. Worse yet, I can't even filter them out without filtering all Turbo's from my lobby. Please add a filter for hyper-turbos! The WSOP $635 supers, the Venetian $700 Supers, and the PCA Sunday Supers were all good, but other than that Stars seems to ahve eliminated all the skill events such as the non-turbo Double Shoot outs for a ...

Re:Just for fun, what's the worst hand of your life?
2007 WSOP Main Event Day 5, 41 players left. I had a very good read on Bill Edler (who I totally respect) and knew he had a flush draw. I had not been all in for my tourney life since Day 1 and I was below average in chips with about 2.5 million (avg was about 3.1M) when this hand came up and sent me to the rail. If I win I have 6 million and feel like I have a great shot to get to the final table. I was 71% Favorite heading to the river. Cardplayer said it best: The 20-minute Hand: Bill Edler vs. Jeff Banghart Bill Edler raises to $150,000 and Jeff "Mr. Rain" Banghart makes the ...

Re:Air card usage
I have an Alltel air card (now owned by Verizon) and mine is unlimited usage for $60 per month. I have a UTStarcom UM175 Plug and Play modem (Aircard). It works very well. My old card would not work in the Bellagio so I got this new one (Alltel cut me a huge break on it). My friend has unlimited on Verizon for $50 (fastest speed they offer). I, too, have a $200 early termination fee. Standard IMO.

Re:Council Bluffs Poker?
The room at the SHoe is the only game in town but it is well run. The dealers are all good, the staff is nice. The rake is high but they can get away with it. 5-10 NL only goes on Friday nights around 5:30. 2-5 NL usually starts around 10 AM and will run most of the night. Very few 2-5 games go all night. I suggest getting to the game around 4 PM for the best action. The regulars leave around 4 PM and the night crowd comes in and loosens up the game. The 1-3 NL game always runs and usually has 1-3 tables going. 1-3 max buy in is $200. 2-5 is $500. Saturday they have a 10-20 HO game that is ...

Screwed by Doyle's Room Today
Took advantage of their "free" entry into the $250K toady by depositing on their site before noon EST. Sent the required email to them, contacted support when I was not registered about 2 hours before the tourney. They assured me I would be registered. 20 minutes before tourney I am still not registered so I get the live chat thing again and they tell me no worries. With 2 minutes left I talk to them again and tell them I am paying the $165 and they can refund me. They agree. Then the software locked me out and would not let me pay as I clicked on register multiple times. Trust me ...

Worst I have ever seen on PLO...WCOOP
This is in the rebuy period of the WCOOP $215 1 rebuy 1 add on today. Preflop all is standard then all Hell breaks loose. The guy "Dalin740" thinks he flops a straight on a A Q 4 board (He has 5678). Analysis of hand on BUbble in 109 Rebuy today
First of all cashing wasn't going to change my life and I play every tourney to win. 45 get paid, I am 15th or so with 46 left and am well above average stack. TheKaas has been very active and I don't have much info on him except he has played very few tournies and has a sick ROI., one of them a $116K win on Stars. I had no notes. Raising here is obviously standard and he has been bullying people near the bubble. He reraises from SB and has me covered. Feedback please. Re:LOOOOL AT ROY WINSTON
I met Roy at the 2007 WSOP when we both made a deep run. He is a class act, really good player and one of the most honest guys I have ever met. He is also a doctor in the real world and very intelligent. I have since seen him at several events and spent time (over meals) discussing poker and life and my opinion is unchanged. He's a good guy and great player. He plays high stakes cash games and crushed the tourney scene the last two years. He is NEW to online poker with Full Tilt. In fact he had never played online until FTP signed him. Now he gets a huge kick out of it.

Re:full tilt havent paid me in almost 2 months
I cashed out 3 $5K checks ($15K) due to their $5K max within 24 hour period about 2 weeks ago. I got the first check in 8 days or so, the second one came in 10 days and the third one about 12 days later. I was vey satisfied. They come in a very generic envelope and almost look like junk mail. Jeff
