Re(2): Forgetting the 3-outer, did I overplay this?
Thanks for the replies, in response I obviously am very happy when he calls but just wondered if anyone else would have played it different. Similar thing happened to me in A £50 FO in DusktilDawn (Notts). Villain raised from mid position, I picked up AA in the big blind so re-raised him 3 times his raise, he goes all-in with JJ, I call and he turns a J. Any benefit to maybe just calling the initial raise then going all-in on the flop' Matt

Re(1): Range?
This smells like KK or AA assuming he has a good knowledge of the game. The flat call of the re-raise all-in seems like a move to try and get you in the pot, or maybe he's just bad and likes to cal raises all the time.

Re(3): Stars is Rigged
Lol at this thread. Have you never played live cash games or been in a live tournament for more than the first level' I see the same ratio of bad beats live as i do online.

Brilliant post, hope it can make even the smallest of differences to the black holes in the poker world. Matt

Re(1): PokerScars
Mr.Blonde, you are a legend. It's not the bad beats that are funny, it's the way you tell 'em thats making me see the funny side of the game i love to hate. Keep up the good work.

Re(3): Good shove well played sir
I'm with the author on this one, the raise was small anyway (3xBB), and he's on the button. You're never going to make any money in cash games waiting for AA or KK. This is a dumb all-in after getting re-raised he must know 2nd pair is not good here. You played it well mate and got unlucky, whereas he got lucky and probably went and lost the money at a bigger stakes table.
