Official Presidential Debate Thread Yea Obama did miss approximately a million opportunities last night. The one I thought of was when Romney said "you're entitled to your own house, and car, but not your own facts" (obv one of the referenced "zingers" he's been practicing).. Obama could have said "youre entitled to destroying your own mansion to build a bigger mansion, and you're entitled to your own car elevator, but not your own facts." Official Presidential Debate Thread I'm sure if Obama won the debate but lied more than Romney, there would be no unbiased way to prove this either. I definitely agree that Obama lost this debate, but win/loss is subjective. Objectively speaking, they both lied, but I do think Romney lied more than Obama. And that's after reading 4 or 5 different fact-check analyses. If this makes you butt-hurt, I'm sorry, but hey, Romney still won. Since they sent no-strings money once, that means his entire argument is to incite racial hatred. Since they spent more money on a storm cleanup that affected hundreds, if not thousands of square miles in more than 2 states than they did on the WTC cleanup, it means Obama's whole point was invalid. As of the time of this speech, they had not yet waived the 10% requirement for New Orleans. In addition, Obama was saying something Sen. Official Presidential Debate Thread It was pretty meh, more of an advertisement for their networks... Beck was his usual history revisionist and trying to take a different position every 5 minutes while scaring people into ordering his network. Spitzer was more partisan and an Obama cheerleader using charts, numbers, but came off flat and fell pretty hard at the end when the crowd turned against him for Romney criticism. Beck took the TV show approach and Spitzer took the lawyer approach, I wasn't a fan of either.
