How do I beat stupidity??? Should have decided pre-flop if you had the best hand. Calling that much pre with A-high and (unless I read it wrong) out of position, with no specific plan is horrible. For example you could play AA/KK/potentially QQ or whatever like this because after almost any flop your hand is still likely the best. (Though I'm pretty much always raising with those hands, don't want to give a ton of people a cheap flop and you want to build a pot) With a high ace you're sitting there hoping to spike one of your cards on the flop and basically having to fold if you don't. AQo late in tourney vs 3bet all in from BB. Most of these posters gave their point of view in a pretty respectful manner, REDDA. Your two main points seem to be that; #1 - "Sorry that he lost 2/3 of his chips" #2 - Wouldn't make this move two players from cashing but would if you were already cashed Sorry but I don't play hours to min cash and get my money back, I play to make bank. That's point #2, as far as point #1; you're being results oriented. I wouldn't put my money in with AA either if I KNEW it wouldn't hold up, but I'd love to get it in without those supernatural powers Posted in: Bad Beats |

Perhaps if it's a majority feeling that posts basically saying that they agree and are just taking up space that there should be a "Like" or "Agree" (or thumbs up/down) type thing for each post' Otherwise I personally don't have any problems with it. 30 person final table because he is easily one of the better players. like i said i was surprised to see 84o and was even more surprised he was pissed i called and said he "wouldn't have called" was just curious how others thought about it. maybe they value pushing with 8Ts/random hand instead of calling it so much more that they'd fold. again, a major part of poker is understanding how your opponents think. this was completely insta for me which is why i was surprised he'd even say it and wanted to hear how others thought Posted in: Live Poker |

30 person final table to make it short: $30 buy in at local bar. sitting with 4-5 bb in the big blind. i know this guy is shoving wide because he's one of the good players at this table. he's small blind and shoves on me. i insta call T8s and he says he wouldn't have called. my two questions: how do you feel about the call ( its insta for me with only ~4bb and i know he's shoving wide, but still like to hear opinions to judge how others think) but my second (main) question: up to how many bb would you be CALLING this with, against the same person' spoiler: he had 84 ... which is probably lower than i ...
