Re(5): Ghost Rider Agreed...it's about the closest you'll ever get to a "snuff" film though (except for maybe the 20 min. segment of torture in Hostel about 50 min. in...). So it's most definitely not for everyone.... Face/Off was ok too, if you're ever in the mood for "beyond ridiculous"..... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(4): I laid down kings.... Something tells me this guy is being sarcastic. And I can see what you're saying (and I think he said about the same by saying "I always say I'd never lay KK down preflop when I see these hands but I've done it"). No, this is not a laydown to make in a $5-$50 tourney. And while, a lot of folks did get in witih cheap sats, OP is a good enough player that he has no need to wager half his stack so early. I know a lot pf people didn't agree and that's fine. But I would certainly hope people see the difference between this and the low to middle limit MTTs that are found 24/7. Lastly thanks mr ... Re(1): Greatest movies thread. Horror: The Exorcist The Omen Hellraiser (this one is the only movie that gave my 18 year old brother nightmares and is about the max of what I can stomach but is very good anyway, don't bother after part 2) The Hitcher (original) Saw (only the 1st one not the gore contest sequels...) Seven Frailty Silence of the Lambs Hannibal Red Dragon Candyman (don't mess with the sequels on this either...) Joyride Rosemary's Baby Stepford Wives (original don't mess with the train wreck remake...) Comedy: Wedding Crashers Cars The Muppet Show (not a movie but it I've gotten way more laughs out of it ... Re(1): Your 3 favorite cable TV channels... 1. USA (for the Law & Order SVU, that's by far my favorite show...) 2. ESPN 3. Bravo I'd love the NFL network if I had it, but the idiots here only sell it on a plan that's an extra $100/month. So I'll wait it out and see if they don't do something better by the time NFL starts again..... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(1): what do you do all day? Well, the short version is, I graduated college at 21. I was a pastry chef in London for 3 years, I really enjoyed it, but I think that'll be far more appropriate once all my siblings are old, I have 2 brothers 18/15 and an 11 year old sister (which is what my mom tried to tell me but it's not like I ever listen...). So I came back, and have worked in various restaurants with mixed success. My plan is once everyone is old, go back overseas for a few more years (I also got TESOL certified but I never found a placement that was to my liking...) and own/manage a restaurant. Re(3): A Long Shot Attempt To Reinstate Below's Chat "For all you clowns who claim not to be dragging on below's nuts, where is this huge outcry when anyone else gets a chat ban'" I think a big reason for that is we don't hear about every Tom, Dick & Harry losing their chat. I can't speak for everyone, but I expect things to be fair and I wouldn't want to see anyone lose their chat over something like this. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): BeLOWaBOVe...what did u do???? Yes...while I'm sorry to hear of MC's cousin, I think a lifetime ban for this was a bit harsh. And I also think that if we were to look at the intent of what was said, than what is actually said, we'd all be better off.... And if it matters, I've been told a couple of times at the poker tables that "I ought to be raped for that". Now being a rape survivor it did initially upset me more than a little, but I really think the intent was little more than I'm sick of you reraising me with zip. Let's face it, we all say stuff when we're mad/frustrated that we wouldn't otherwise or might regret ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
