Pokertracker help Please! Just downloaded the free trial for Pokertracker a few days ago and when I mark hands during play I have no clue how to view them in Pokertracker. It seems so ridiculous how complicated it is to just review hands that youve marked. Can someone help me please' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

SNG Player Who can't handle variance, any grinders in any format please help me Here's my story maybe someone can help me. After playing over 1000 games of 11 dollar 18 mans on tillt I was up $1700. I quickly moved my b roll over to stars where I started play $16 18 man's. I built my b roll up to $2500 multi tabling 18 mans (12 at a time) over the first 850 games. I feel comfortable multi tabling 12 at a time. So over 2350 games I was up about $2500. I decide I will reward the tons of hours I've pured ionto grinding that roll up by taking off $500, so I do so. Ok here comes the variance. From games 850-1100 on Stars I lose about $900. I figure ok this sucks but it's ... Posted in: Bad Beats |

200c COOP It really aggravates me that stars and tilt just ultimately fail to make the adjustments and the considerations that its player request in a timely fashion. No Auto Rebuy on Tilt, Stars just adds a green bar to display when your hand will be folded, I mean seriously make the aesthetic adjustments to your clients quicker. We pour rake into your servers and you guys slap us in the face from time to time with shitty tourney schedules, poor structures( not always, but occasionally) . Listen to the player base and act swiftly and you will see even more love from your players. I'm just saying you ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Holdem Manager..,. My statistics are everywhere, help me get them to stick Hey everyone I'm an SNG grinder so I usually run 12 tables at a time and because they are SNG's tables are constantly shrinking and collapsing. As a result of this my holdem manager statistics will pour over onto the table and block bet amounts or chip counts of players. It's too annoying to go and move them all over the place while I'm playing, but I definitely need them!!! Do you lock the layout' whats your secret' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Climbing the SNG Ladder... Mixing Stakes??? I currently grind 16 SNg's on Pokerstars. I have a 2k roll exactly and feel super comfortable 12 tabling them and I think my worst swing has been about $400-500$. I think my roi is about 8% in this current small sample I have. Anyway I was wondering what SNG grinders out there think of mixing stakes. I want to mix in 27's. I figure if I have 8 16's and 4 27's my average buy in is only like $20-$21 therefore I currently would have about 100 buy ins. Something inside me just feels uncomfortable because if I started running badly at $27's I'm afraid I would get tilty. I do however have full ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

SNG Grinders, what's your method for booting up sng's? Just wondering if any sng grinders out there have a specific method they use when booting up sng's. I've been trying all kinds of combinations such as 1. Starting 4 every 10 minutes 2. Starting 6 every 15 minutes. 3. Booting up as I bust but staying at 12 tables total.( I feel 12 tables is where I am optimal) Just looking for some thoughts, opinions, recommendations etc. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Fulltilt, two people playing on same IP. You mean your friends colluded and gave Full Tilt a reason for blocking them from playing on same IP. I'm just saying...I don't think they would it without intent. Do your friends play in the same sit and gos' Honestly... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

The end of Sit and Gos on Full Tilt Where have all the sit and go players on Full Tilt Gone' Can't get an 18 27 or 45 man turbo booted up above $11.00 but once every 15 minutes. SO Frusturating. What is Full tilt doing wrong to steer away higher stakes sit and go players. Probably some of the best rake on the internet for them and they are completely ignoring the lack of action at these stakes. Offer better bonuses, more value for FTP Points, YOUR SITE IS LOSING ITS GRINDERS. We're going to Stars Full Tilt!!! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Mass Multi tabling SNG"s My question is simple. Is there a benefit to mass tabling sng's if you are able too. I currently play between 9-12 very comfortably. Do many experienced grinders do more then this or are you really putting your roi in jeopardy by adding more tables' I play 18 man sng's and I want to be able to get in 40 games a day without playing more then 3 1/2 hours. Is this unreasonable, to try and do for a profit' Like I said I am comfortable with many tables. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Questions about Supenova Elite Yeah come to think of it... it would seem difficult for mtt grinders to get there solely from mtts theyd have to mix sit and gos too. Ive seen agrifrod wearing the supernova elite ring on stars. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Discuss this hand $11 45/ turbo Like my Man Kev says if you are going to think about folding here even at all you will be lighting money on fire in a long term sample. Its not about this specific situation, rather think about the long term sample. He shoves up with lower aces here all the time, lower pairs all the time, kj kq, your only in bad shape against QQ, KK, and AA which, he will very rarely show down here. Especially how deep everyones stacks are here If I had aces or Kings I would probably min raise to enduce if i were him. You are too far ahead of his shoving range here in a long term sample to folddddddd. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Questions about Supenova Elite How many players reach Supernova Elite that are high stakes MTT players and about how long does it take' I know that cash and Sit and Gos are easier to attain Supernova Elite status through... Would it be fair to say that ever year the real hard Mtt Grinders attain like 30+k in fpp/ftp point bonuses or vip programs'''' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Poker and College. Like my man MarleyGroup says do what you have to do and make sure to get to your poker, and get your volume in. The only way you learn, grow, and profit in this game is by spending hours at the tables, so figure out how to get yourself there. I'm a college student and I work a regular job then come home and grind. For instance today I worked my job till 2PM, went to class from 2:30-4:50, came home and went for a run. Slept from 6-9 PM. Woke up and I've been grinding since. This is because I don't have work tomorrow and only 1 class. I may grind all night, I don't know it depends on if I think ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Hello all :) Regulars?...FullTilt vs PokerStars Breaking out of micros... You need to accept that if you are going to start from a small bankroll you will have to be patient. I myself started with a micro roll and have grinded it up to respectability. I chose the 18 man SNG format where I would play 9 games at 1 time beginning with the 2.25 level, 6.50, 11+1, etc. I think one of the most important pieces of advice I can offer you is if you are looking to just profit and grow your roll, find a single format of game that you believe you are successful at and master it. For me it was 18 mans. Once you can successfully beat these games and you have a roll to work with, ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Fulltilt vs Pokerstars [QUOTE=iPlayTourneys;5778057]FTP sturcture in the end fase is just different. IT does take less skill then playing deeper, but its also just a differnt skill.. However. I wish FTP would change there structure and be more of crapshoot early and deeper later like stars. Stars structure > FTP structure FTP schedule >>>> Stars schedule. ATM! But they are about to change/refresh the whole stars schedule I read in the other topic.[/QUO Different in the end, also can be very nice though. The benefit of Full Tilt is this since you won't be as deep throughout the course of a tournament it is easier ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Moving up the 18 man SNG Ladder, any insight? Jennifear if your out there thoughts Awesome Advice, in response to your explanation that I should shove more as 3rd into 2nd and 4th into 3rd on the bubble. Should I be doing this much lighter than the top 50%. Obviously I'm usually shipping top 50% on bubble in late position and about 75 80% from ep, but I think I do this a little less at $6.50 because I'm scared to risk some of the equity I feel I still have over the players around me, at the $6.50 stakes they do not put correct pressure on you in the situations that they should and therefore you can carry out a little longer.. At higher stakes like $11's and above maybe it ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Moving up the 18 man SNG Ladder, any insight? Jennifear if your out there thoughts my name is "meeles" on full tilt. About a month ago I decided to strictly 9 table 18 man's as I felt this was the best way for me to start generating profit. Yes it is a small sample and perhaps "dominating" is not even a formidable word to use at my stakes. Look me up let me know what you can from this sample( Remember started end of August about). Before Full tilt I logged about 3000 games on Stars where I first started learning sit and gos and was a small winner over this sample playing mostly 3.25 45 mans . About a month ago however I switched to Full Tilt where I love the structure and ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Moving up the 18 man SNG Ladder, any insight? Jennifear if your out there thoughts Hey guys I've progressed my way through the $6.50 18 man's to arrive at an $800.00 roll. I did this relatively quickly through about 500 games. Starting with $100.00. Perhaps this was a run good stretch as 500 games is a small sample, however I never felt I encountered any real adversity at the $6.50 level, as they make too many mistakes at various points throughout the tourney which I'm sure doesn't happen as you climb the ladder. l Anyway I'm going to begin mixing in the $11.00 18 man's with $6.50's and was wondering whether the game play differs much at this level'I'm very confident in the ...
