anything that has judges and is subjective, (Gymnastics, cheerleading, figure skating, diving, and most of the events in the X games) is not a sport.

Future of Online Poker in the USA
wow there are so many points I want to respond to. 1. Company profits aren't directly funneled to the CEO. If the Company earns a profit the company pays taxes on those profits(ignoring our stupid tax system with deductions and credits). The Shareholders of the company benefit from those profits. yes CEOs make a lot of money but as someone with an Econ degree would know their pay is set by supply and demand. the market decides how much they sould get paid. 2. Creating a Government Monopoly would not funnel more money into the economy than opening up the market to competition. The government ...

Full Tilt gaming license suspended
I believe that full tilts suspension has very little to do with the indictments and everything to do with allowing people to deposit and play even though they had no way of getting the funds at the time, and still haven't collected them. Therfore, I believe that pokerstars should be fine.

In the Super turbo Sit&Go's the jump from 200/400 to 500/1000 is pretty outragous in my opinion espescially with 3 people left. Can we add some more levels in there like a 250/500 or even 300/600. Thanks

Would you take a deal heads up in an MTT to make it winner-take-all?
Sounds like a math problem to me. The answer depends on your winning percentage heads up against the donk. let's assume 250K for first 180K for second and you have a 60% chance of winning. without a deal your EV is 60% of 70K or 42K. with the deal your EV would be 60% of 250K minus 40% of 180K or 78K. giving these assumptions you gain 36K in EV by making the deal.

Need help: What is the cash value of a Cake Poker Gold Chip?
you can purchase a $10 bonus for 40 chips. so 1 chip = 25 cents rough estimation obviously you could probably get better value buying into tourneys but there is a starting point.

Cake Poker checks
Just wondering how long it normally takes to get a check from cake poker once you request it. I'm about to request my first one and I'm used to pokerstars checks coming in about a week. Thanks for the info.

For tournaments I have 139,344 hands played and ironically the pair that I have had the least is AA. Each pair should have shown up about 630.5 times. I had AA 590 times. I saw KK 618 times AK suited and off a total of 1695 expected was 1681. KK and AK are well within range but I was surprised how far off AA was. obv really small sample size but still.

Need some help with career advice
So I am a senior in college and just recently started the job search. I think that I would be most interested in becoming a trader (High level of pressure, excitement, variance, whatever I have an accounting degree as a backup). Unfortunately, very few of these companies come and recruit from my school. I was wondering If any of you have ever worked in that field' What companies would you recommend working for' What was your experience like working as a trader' Did you enjoy it' What are the hours like' Any other advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

no difference. probability of hitting "outs" would not change since the probability of someone hitting a one outer is one divided by the number of unseen cards. burned cards are unseen cards therefore the percentage is still the same in both cases.
