Re:PokerStars Paper Check Update Sorry to those hundreds of people. However, there are thousands of people wondering if PokerStars is mailing out paper checks. I answered their question. Hopefully the check will clear. Again, I will keep everyone updated. Posted in: Poker Legislation |

PokerStars Paper Check Update I requested a withdrawl via paper check on June 4th, and the cashout remained in the "pending cashouts" section of the cashier until June 8th. I sent PokerStars an email today asking if there was any way they could confirm whether or not the check had been mailed out to me. I recieved an email saying it was sent to me on June 9th and to please allow up to 15 business days for delivery. They always add that part about the 15 business days, but it usually only takes 3-5 business days. I will let you know as soon as I receive my check in the mail. I will also let you know if it ... Re:45 Man SNG's on FullTilt Questions You will find that 1,000 games is not a large enough sample size for the 45 man tournaments. The variance in these is much higher than a 9 man sit and go. I think 5,000 - 10,000 will give you more accurate numbers. I am not familiar with the structure or skill level of the 45 man sit and gos on Full Tilt. I have played a lot of them on Stars though and can tell you that at the $20-$30 level, anything over 20% is very good. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Bankroll Question, Searched and Couldn't Find It I read through Jennifear's bankroll management guide and didn't see anything about 6man tournaments (1st place 65% 2nd place 35%). I would assume the "bankroll requiremnet" is very similar to 9man STTs (65 buyins, and I am looking for confirmation). Also, this wasn't directly in the guide but might have been talked about later on in the post. Is there a simple way to figure out how to adjust these numbers for multi-tabling' Or would you simply adjust these numbers based on your ROI (more tables --> lower roi --> larger bankroll needed). Why no $24 Turbo 180man? Stars has a $12 turbo 180man and a $36 turbo 180man. The $36 only runs once every 30-45 minutes or so, but the $12 fills constantly. Does anyone know the reason why they don't have a $24 (or something similar) turbo 180man' I think they should have one, and I think they would fill up quickly. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
