Remember me? I finally opened my cupcake shop after quitting the gold sheet!!!
Just got back to the UK after my trip to the States....popped in while i was in LA and have to say that a) The cupcakes were amazing. Could have ate loads....the Cupcake Sundae has to be tried b) Joe is a really nice guy. Gave us good places to hang while in LA and even gave me his number in case i needed anything. Re:Advice Needed - First Time in the States...Tour of the West Coast!!
....Quick question on tipping. I know that you guys are pretty big on tipping and have different "rules" for different types of service. In the UK we generally only tip at restaurants when the service is good...even then its no biggie. Personally i'm a fan and more-so if i'm gonna be going to a place more than once/staying in a place Any general rules' Hotels, Bars, Restaurants, Poker, Other'' Cheers guys

Re:Advice Needed - First Time in the States...Tour of the West Coast!!
Thanks man The American accent definately adds a few extra points to your rankings if you're speaking to UK girls. We watch so many American shows and movies that anyone who speaks in the accent has a kind of cool quality about them BUT The only caveat is that the American "reputation" does follow you sometimes. Some quiter English girls may be a bit intimitated by the "loud Amercian" stereotype...even if your not!! But hey....you dont wanna be impressing those girls anyway!!!

Re(1): do u think u could take a wild wolf in a fight?
After an incident today I was wondering how a Husky type pet dog compares to a wild wolf for the purposes of this thread. I know that the dog is part wolf but ultimately it's still a dog. Its about 3 years old and when stood up on it's hind legs is bigger than me (1.64 meters/5 foot 11) The dog went for me today and I was able to fend it off without doing any damage to it (it was my friends dog). I had on a leather jacket and kept giving it my forearm to bite while pushing it off with my other arm while I got into another room and closed the door. I came out with a pretty big cut on my ...

Re(1): 6.50 45-person Turbos... profitable?
I played alot of these in the pastr few weeks and found that they are extremly beatable. first place plays 14 times the buy in so you can afford to go a few without cashing. Play is stupidly weak, most people do not know how to play turbo and either a) spew chips at the start b) have no idea of push/fold strategy. However A) Varience is high B) You will suffer bad beats C) know you push fold D) Know your push fold recently i've seen alot a regulars in these so watch out good luck

Re(1): polpolpol sucks
Being one of your biggest fans and railing you whenever i can i can say that one of the reasons that you may not be doing as well is that you are making things too complicated. One example of this is a hand against BeL0w from a while ago when he 3, or 4, bet you with nothing and in the said hand history which was posted, Bel0w made a comment like "stop trying so hard". there are times when i can imagine you so despeerate to "make a play", against good and bad players, that you are putting yourself in difficult positions with marginal holdings. Like i said i havent watched you play as much ...

Re(1): Satty Question
i think i shove this and add 20% to your stack. If you wanna get more value out of value out of your hand then i like something similar to the above poster. I often raise about half my stack and push the flop regardless, you'll be suprised how many times people fold after putting in a large amount of their stack. However yours is a very common situation that arises and i'd like the hear some more views

Re(1): Discussion about my fold 3 handed.
Congrats on the win. Been playing a lot of these myself recently with relative success and in all honesty i think your fold is NOT terrible by any means. I fully understand the above points about playing for the win etc and that his range is very wide with a short stack there but here’s some analysis taking into account the payouts. Please note that all the below is based on educated guesses, some of which you may not agree with. Option 1: Fold If you fold we can say that you are guaranteed 2rd place payout with is $60. This means that in the long run folding yeilds you $60. Option 2: ...
