Opening raise size
like tyson said this is a live game not online, big difference. Truth is I don't get 3bet that often, if I did this would be a horrible strategy and very exploitable. I know this forum is mostly online MTTS, but the few that actually play live cash, what is your standard pre flop raise'

Opening raise size
I open from a wide range and in different positions, I look to isolate and take down a lot of pots and usually when I get played back I have a monster or nothing so its easy to make decisions, but when its 4-6 handed post flop it doesn't matter what my starting hand is because I am relying too much on the flop/cards. For example I hear people complain all the time that they get 4 callers when they have pocket aces and get it cracked, I don't seam to have that problem (of course it happens to everyone).

Opening raise size
In tournaments I usually open 3x, but in cash I was opening 4x and realized I wasn't thinning out the field at all in live games. Only opening up 4x led to 4 or more callers and made it more difficult to play post flop. The last couple of weeks I upped my preflop raises to 6-7x and have had much more success pre and post flop. I was wondering what others have been doing lately and what they have had an have not had success with.

Full Tilt to stop datamining
my reason for the post is simple, I personally am not a fan of these sites, but I know they are used by regs. Im a recreational player that only plays one table at a time, not a multi tabler using huds and other software to help my game. I would like to see an even playing field, but that is for my selfish reasons. These programs obviously help people multi table therefore increasing the revenue for the sites. Im curious to what other p5ers think.

Do you consider this collusion?
this is definitely not allowed but happens all the time. This is a huge pet peeve of mine too. Call it soft play, collusion, etc. but you are not allowed to say what you have in a hand (overpair) and not allowed to agree on action. I might be in the minority but I believe this shouldn't even be allowed in a cash game.

overconfidence
i understand ur point marleygroup, i'm definitely confident at the table but sometimes i'm overconfident and just assume I'm gonna hit that two outer and when i do my cockiness gets the best of me (not a likable trait, but who cares)

Does anyone here ever deal with overconfidence at the tables' Maybe you've been on a hot streak and feel you can't lose, won more than your share of coin flips recently, etc. Then it all comes smashing back down to earth'

Gus Hansen busto on Full Tilt (for now)
it was reported that gus is down 7million online so not so far-fetched that he is busto on fulltilt but probably not in life. He himself has said that he has gone bust many of times.

Do most pros hate poker and the lifestyle around it?
I'm a live player mostly and years ago I used to only play MTTs and it definetly was a grind and very much like a job. Tournaments are scheduled, which as a poker player who wants a schedule!!'!!! I've been playing cash only now with an occasional tournament just as fun and it no longer feels like a job.
