The other big difference from boxing is when a fighter is clocked he doesn't get a chance to recover every time he goes down. When a mma fighter is out of it/knocked real hard the fight is usually finished very quick. In boxing they can recover for a 10 count, get knocked to the brink of conciousness, recover for a 10 count, rinse and repeat... Much more repeated head damage in boxing.

Just got back from the bars and read the fight reports. I am currently hammered. Penn ftw, Florian's everything for the lose. Florian has always annoyed me and I think comes across as a dbag anyway (in a really insecure but cokcy way if that makes sense). Can't wait to see the fight video later. Once again, for those who thought Florian had anything more than a chance in hell, lol. For those who thought Florian would sub Penn, well we know how that turned out. Sucks Forrest didn't even put up a fight. Silva is on another level, but in a way that I would love to see him at least ...

Penn is in sick shape and I give Penn 80% chance to win. If Florian wins feel free to flame away. This fight would suck becuase I am positive Kimbo has no takedown defense. Tito would take him down and lay on him/hit him for a while. Usually not too much fun to watch a fight where one guy is hugely dominant in one aspect of the fight, and the other guy has little to no defense in that area.

Wasn't meant to be epic just sharing for amusement. Kinda harsh considering the only thing "frat boy" about this was I said it took place in a fraternity house. Yep GT. Anyone else have any good drunk roommate stories' There have to be some good ones. Turns out my roommates gf won't talk to him over something he said through voice mail and she won't say what. We are trying to play detective to figure out what he said to piss her off.

Update: I just left him in the bathroom to do his thing and a buddy of mine just led him back in to our room. He had been in there for like 15-20 minutes so i figured he just fell asleep on the pot, turns out he was just sitting on the toilet locking and unlocking the stall door repeatedly.

Drunk Roomates
First my roomate was too drunk to climb in his loft last night so he crashed on the couch (not being able to climb a ladder is usually a good barometer as to how drunk you are). Everything seems fine until I am woken up at 4 in the morning to a splashing sound and realize he is getting sick on the floor. I jump to action and get him a bucket, water, towels etc. He eventually passes back out. I can't go to sleep so I stay up and play some poker (make 600$ coincidently woohoo!). Right as I am about to call it a night he kinda stumbles to life (but you can tell there is no operator behind ...

I have not logged in in 2+ years, just been a lurker. Had to finally log in to reply to this thread. Decided to update my profile while I was at it. My favorite poker site was still set as Absolute Poker (lol) from when I used to bonus whore there to stay a breakeven player like 4 years ago.
