Has anyone here taken a recent Geography 101 college course???
The question says what is the horizontal distance from C to B on my contour map. the intervals between the contours is 50. On my map B is located on north part of the map and c is located on south part of the map. the scale is in feet starting at 0 and going up to 3000.

Matt, I forgot to mention that geography isn't my chosen major. I have to take it as a requirement to get my degree. Which explains why I am struggling and asking for help. It's all a part of the bullshit colleges require you to do so you get a more rounded education. Which is just their way of getting more money out of the poor college students!

What are you doing with your life (career-wise) and are you happy?
I am a casino security shift manager for a small casino and I hate my job. It is boring just about everyday. I am going to school and will get my AA in criminal justice this spring semester and will decide later if I am going to get my bachelor's in criminal justice. I would love to go to law school if I get my bachelor's, but there aren't any law schools within 12 hour drive of my location, plus I have an 8 yr old son, AND I am 42 yrs. old. Kinda thinking it is too late for me to become an attorney, which sucks!

But if you don't resist getting arrested you won't get harmed. Oh and suing the cop or department will in fact hurt the cop because it puts them under the microscope and if you sue the department civilly and win the cop could get fired, and at worst it is in the public eye and he is branded a bad cop by the public.

I'm not sure but if the person is getting arrested then why make it worse by resisiting the arrest' If it's an illegal arrest then sue the police officers/department later.

You do realize she could have said no to the cops. It also isn't the cops fault the dealer got out 3 days later. If you are gonna blame someone blame the people who make the laws and the court system. Seriously, the cops are doing their job and she knew what might happen to her if she decided to help the cops out. Anyone who is caught by the cops and is given the choice to either help the cops to try and reduce their possible sentence has the choice to say no to the cops. It's a no win situation for the person, but if they weren't involved in drugs in the first place they wouldn't have been ...

I think CSI Las Vegas was the best when it had William Peterson aka..Grissom on the show. Now it sucks. I think right now First 48 is the best show on tv.

If I am Boise St. and Chris Peterson I tell the NCAA GFY and politely turn down the invite to play in the Maaco Bowl against Arizona St. who is 6-6 (4-5 in conference play). I mean seriously...this is who they get matched up with' This has to be extremely disappointing for BSU...dunno how they would even get motivated to play this game. If they win..big deal they are supposed to win. This won't help their recruiting being in this bowl game for past two seasons. I am not a BSU fan but I think this program deserves better than this!

Tiger and his caddie split up...
Just announced today that Steve Williams is no longer Tiger's caddie. LOL...he should get rid of Sean Foley and go back to Butch Harman. Also Phil Mickelson should fire bones and get Williams as his caddie!!!

predicting 30 mph winds for first round and tees had to be moved up so players could reach some of fairways. Who in the hell would want to travel all the way over there and play in 30 mph winds on a golf course that isn't that nice to look at' American's hardly play in conditions like this so yeah go with a Euro....Sergio one time...ftw!!!!!

30 mph winds are expected for the first round. Since it maybe gets that windy in places like Texas consistently, someone who plays in the wind regularly should be a good bet...go with a euro to win it or a player from Texas area.

Most of us can strive to reach 28 inches on the vertical, which is the NBA average for the vertical leap. Average PGA Tour driving distances keep going up, reaching 288.9 yards last year Average LPGA Tour driving distance is 243.9 yards PGA and LPGA tours played their US Open on same golf course as an example at Oakmont for men in 2007 and women in 2010. Angel Cabrera won at +5 and Paula Creamer -3. Yeah men can hit it farther, but straight is also better. Chipping and putting, both are probably equal in that area. So I think that OT would lose to the best the LPGA had to offer for ...
