Re:Very upset--is this standard? Yes I do feel great about it! I was thinking at first making it 50k and then maybe folding to shove..but that would be chip spew...and I had the 2nd highest chips at the table and wanted to apply pressure so folding wasn't in my forte...more because of the stack sizes rather than position... CRUCIAL HAND--Please see my Analysis Ok so I've been playing like a total nit at this table so when I get the nuts I don't want to give away my hand but induce someone to bully/bet into me with some crap like they've mostly been doing...YL57DY has horrible stats of -100 BB/100 (the reason I've sat at this table)...SUFFER is a 120k+ winner...and the rest are all winners too...we're here just for YL57DY...so I've been waiting and waiting for a hand and finally end up with this...What chokes me is SUFFER folds to my check-raise and says "I have a flush but I know you have a higher flush..the nut or 2nd ... So I decide to give another chance to Mtts and... Where do I go from here? I'm a casual cash game player and play 6max/9max/headsup nl upto 1/2nl...However,I think I'm not a good player..I may be a little up in terms of profit because I go about fish-hunting..but when it comes to playing regs/good players, I think I'm nowhere..I don't know how to correctly play a vast number of hands, how/whom/when to three-bet, how to think about hands/play postflop, how to bluff/catch bluffs etc...I pretty much just try playing my cards and I want my game to go to the next level.. suck at heads up..!! Its not the first time for me...7 to 1 chiplead and I still get 2nd in this 34-entrant private $5 mtt...$81 for 1st $50 for 2nd....I struggled 3 hours to get 43k in the end vs his 6k and still lose..Omg...feels terrible..wondering if its luck or bad play.. Why do I become so predictable? Everytime I try to play tricky/slow etc. I mostly get burned and when I try playing straightforward I never get paid how much I should be getting paid..How do I figure out what to bet exactly to get calls with my good hands' Example..these 2 hands.. Re:Pokerxfactor I agree with you that I may need to watch and study more. But I feel I am doing something wrong , especially with playing marginal hands. Either I am overplaying or underplaying them. Also, I feel that the game at my stakes is quite differently played than the ones at PXF which are much higher buyins. Pokerxfactor Hi All, I've joined and used Pokerxfactor for a couple of months and my subscription just ended. I have a problem.Although I find good insight into the MTT stuff there, my MTT game hasn't really improved. Its hard for me to even get into the money each and every time, leave aside getting to the FT. I'm usually into push-fold mode with around 10 BBs towards the mid-late stages before getting ITM and shove a decent hand and mostly always lose flips.
