Hollywood Casino in PA open Poker Tomorrow
I went there today around 3pm. There was an 83 person waiting list for 1/2 NL. I had to leave by 7, and they texted my phone that my seat was ready at 7:30. I like the idea of them texting you when your seat is ready though.

Re:Anyone using a Netbook for playing online? Feedback
The original netbooks that came out were slow - but pretty much everyone out now has more than enough performance for anything poker related (even PT or HM) You will want one with at least a 10.1" screen though. The battery life is great on netbooks though, which is a lot more convenient then you will think at first. Some models can get up to 9 hours of life. I definitely recommend ASUS as far as the manufacturer, and at this point getting Windows 7 is pretty much standard. Also, if you have a desire to play any games (other then web games) then a netbook will not have enough ...

Re:Anybody buying a laptop this Black Friday primarily for poker
there are a lot of good deals out there...but if you are going to use the laptop as your primary poker machine you probably want something higher end and to a lot of the previous posts, there is no one brand that is good or bad - some models are better then others. Look at reviews for specific machines, as this is more telling of the quality of it. Macs are usually pretty reliable, but cost up to 3x more then its PC equivalent. I would suggest the following as minimum requirements Windows 7, 4 GB RAM, and one with a dedicated graphics card

rakeback difference between 25 NL and 50 NL
my bankroll right now is enough for 25 NL. I am currently getting rakeback on Cake Poker. Would it be better to play 50NL with $25 buy in's to earn more rakeback - or play full stacked at 25 NL. Or even short stack 100 NL'

Re:Girlfriends + Poker
you guys need to grow a set decide what your passion is in life, and go for it if your the type of person who has a passion for relationships and having a family - then your going to have to sacrifice poker. i have seen passionate people in "more respectable" position go through the same things - and it ends up in once thing - cheating and divorce you can't have everything...people who try to have everything fail generally, women who are attention whores are bad news anyway decide what is more important to you - and that is the best decision

Re:My comp got a virus somehow. What should I do?
There is a lot of info in this post - some helpful, and some not so helpful. I am an IT Pro, and deal with 40+ computers with viruses a week. First off, as far as all the apple fanboys, they exaggerate the truth to push their products. Mac OS is NOT more secure then Windows - but there are a very small amount of viruses/malware written for Mac because they have a very small percentage of the market. If you like the Mac setup, then they are good machines, but you will pay more then its equal PC counterpart, and there is a lot less software that is compatible. As for Alienware - they are not ...

Just a bad streak, or should I reavaluate my play/move down?
I have been 6 tabling 50 NL 6 Max for the past two months - the last two days have been cruel. I have lost 12 buy-ins since Sunday night when my bankroll was at an all time high. Here are my stats: 46661 Hands, - $183.07, -$0.39/100 Hands I do have rakeback which is giving me +$1.59/100 Hands, so I am still profiting.
