Playing Best Poker of my life...
Yo compadres - I decided to post here because it is only here that the audience would understand. Over the last few days, and particularly today, I'm playing the best poker of my life. Every situation that is in front of me has been something I can understand, and make the best decision on what to do given the information and odds. Thanks for the follow up - and yes I'm playing .5/1 NL I just ran a lot of reports, and interestingly enough, the overall advice was right on: 1. I lose the most when my Total Agression Factor gets above 3 2. I also lose the most when my stack is under 40 BB Thanks again for posting guys - back to the drawing board...

Con Artisit - you post sounds a little arrogant, so I'm not sure if your a logical cat or not - but either way, since you did say some good stuff - I want to reopen the discussion of why you think its bad to bet, raise, checkraise, etc like you have a monster until your opponent(s) put to a decision. I've always heard the common belief that your always want your opponents to fear that you have the nuts. Now don't take this too far obviously - you don't do it in big multiway pots with no hand, when others are already betting and raising - but against checks, c-bets, weak ...

Hey guys, Playing a lot of poker again over the last 4 months after taking 6 months off. Fully into my stats now for 30,000 hands, and I notice I'm a winning player at 9 or 10 seat tables $1 NL. VPIP is always around 25 for both 9 seat and 6 seat, aggression is pretty standard, stealing, defending blinds, etc - all pretty standard. But at 6 seat tables - I'm either losing or barely breaking even - especially on stars. Please suggest any spots to look for leaks in my game that could cause this. Some other info: 1. Here's the best I can offer: Preflop: Play it the same as you would AA, KK, QQ preflop, almost acting like you actually do have one of those hands - but stop short of the big-stack all ins if the re-raising gets too high. Postflop: Continuation bet once whether you hit or not, and play defensively on turn and riv, whether you hit or not. Best advice I've heard: If you raise or re-raise preflop with AK and an Ace or King hits the board - if someone raises your continuation bet - they either don't beleive you have AK or they can crush it. Usually its the ladder.

Sure.... Fun, blonde chick I met on vacation. her and her friend met me and my buddy in vegas for a long weekend. Both were hot, nice big boobs with athletic builds. I like MGM Grand better. Fairly soft NLHE Cash games downstairs, decent service, nice complex, and good location. I also railed a hot blond there for a week last time I was in Vegas - so I have pleasant memories. Try to get my room - its obviously lucky. I don't think you pay them until they settle most or all of their EFT situations with other players. I don't think you are required to keep your morals with a business that isn't keeping theirs. Think of it as not letting "bad" guys win. They need to fulfill their business obligations before they deserve any moral consideration by their clients

I've only won about 1900 in a single session of online cash games, but one sunday, I lost about 5 G's over 7 or so hours (about a third of my total stack!). Had to take a week long break and get back to basics after that one...

they got it above pretty well. Pot odds = the bet your facing / the money in the pot. So, lets say after the flop - there is 600 in the pot. If someone bets 600 - you are getting 2 to 1 pot odds for your call (calling 600 to win 1200) if someone bets 200 into a 600 pot - your getting 4 to 1 (calling 200 to win 800) if someone bets 200 into a 600 pot, and someone else calls, you're getting 5 to 1 (calling 200 to win 1000) cool '
