Am I the only player to have won the Turbo Hundo (several times) the $216 Turbo 40k, and the Turbo Hundred Rebuy on Full Tilt' I also won a turbo 109 on stars fwiw. end brag.

Poker Pros in Humboldt County CA?
I am a small/med stakes NL full time pro who recently moved to Arcata, CA. Online poker is rather antisocial and I don't know many ppl out here. I was wondering if there are any other pros who would be down to get together for a drink and discuss poker etc.

All I am suggesting is that, since the allure of the satelites lies in the idea that the common internet donk can somehow afford to get to the tourney they paid like 5.50 to get to, no' They should award fewer packages or up the buyin to the bigger satelites. Like FTPeezy.

Stars Skimping on Prize Package?
For the Aussie Millions, the package is 10k, which includes $2100 in spending money. The cheapest flight from here (Minneapolis) to Melbourne is nearly 3k. Add to that hotel and food and I would be paying 3-4k out of pocket for the trip if I were to win it' C'mon. Is this right'

My biggest thing, I think, is that you can't get the accomidations any more for PCA, so I'd have to pay for flight and hotel with the 1k added. With the Aussie package, dont they give you more than enough for airfare for 2 and hotel etc'

Always have 30-50 buyins at whatever level you play at. If you build to 30 buyins at the next level, and feel frisky, give the next level a shot. But be sure to move back down when you have only 50 buyins at the previous level. That way you never go broke.

I play 4-6 tables of 6 max NL and have worked my way up to 2/4. Here is my advice: 1. I would sugest that you keep a MINIMUM of 20-25 buyins at the level you play. 2. That being said, in 0ver 200k hands at 6 max, I have never had a losing streak of more than 5 buy-ins. 3. You need a big hand to play a big pot. TPTK is not the nuts, AK is just Ace high. Every time you get stacked with one pair hit your head against a wall. 4. In cash games, I limp more, call more and push WAY less.
