Visa Gift Card help... Full Tilt Deposit My Walgreens has several Visa Gift Cards. I know that only certain ones work. I know the Gift2Go works, but Walgreens near my house never has any in. They have Green Dot and Vanilla ones. Does any1 know if either one of those 2 work' What about other types of Visa Gift Cards. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks so much. Re(1): Cash Game Players, Suited Connectors - What Is The Point? Id play the 1st situaiton very fast. You are a favorite over anything but a set and a flopped str8 and still too those 2 hands you're not even much of a dog. I would bet 2/3-3/4 pot on the 2nd situation, but procede cautiously if he shows alot of resistance. The 3rd and 4th situation would totally depend on ur opponent. I mean u could make a standard cont bet here or check. Like I said it would depend on the table and opponent situation. However the 4th situation is much better to make a cont bet on, since the K is very easy to represent, i.e. w/AK or KQ. The 5th situation I check/fold. Re(1): Simultaneous SNG and Cash Game +EV? I agree wit this whole heartedly. I used to play both at the same time until I realized it was definitly affecting my results. Like you said the skills required are totally different. I personally can not play both at the same time to my best ability, therefor I play one or the other. Re(1): cash games boring? I personally used to be a 99% tournament player. The 1% cash game came from when I would go to Foxwoods. Now, I play 90% cash. Whenever, I try to go back to playing tournament with some regularity, I get EXTREMELY bored, EXTREMELY fast. There just isn't enough action for me. Even though I play small stakes, I just can't see how she would think they are boring. All the more, because she plays higher stakes than me, so I really don't understand why she would think so. Cash Game... tough spot w/top 2 pair on same suit, str8ning flop... what would you do? Please respond. TY. So this hand took place on the 8th hand of my session. I have no reads at all on any of the players, other than their stack sizes. Of course that doesn't mean much either. Anyone with a big stack, could be a donkey who got lucky and anyone on a SS could be a solid player who got unlucky or a SS specialist. Re(1): Rizen's Article / The Gap Between Great and Average Players I personally loved the article myself. I mean he is basically telling you how to exploit how alot of people are playing right now. Everybody knows M and the zones. I mean, if you don't you should and if you can exploit a player who knows that, the better you are going to be. While I don't agree 100% that it's time to move on completely from what Harrington says in his books, I do think Rizen brought up some good points. The part about using the squeeze play against opponents is such a great play. I personally have had it done vs me and have done it vs other opponents. It is definitly a solid ... Re(1): Absolute poker? I used to play their primarily, but now I am on FTP. I personally love AP, esp for cash. The reason being A) the players are weak and B) they allow you to buy-in for 200 BBs, instead of the normal 100 BBs. So, in .10/.25, the max buy-in is 50$, instead of 25$ like most sites. However, rarely will you see a 6-max table where 2 or 3 players buy-in for the 50$. Most tbals, have 1 or 2 who buy-in for the max and everyone else sits with between 10$-25$. He could also think you re-raised all-in w/AK thinking he missed the 6 high rainbow flop and was stealing when he re-raised you. The bad thing about your play is that you gave your opp to much credit. You said you only raised 3 out of 60 hands, so your tight image should get respect. While that should be true, did your opponent notice that' More important, from your opponents previous play in other hands, was he capable of making a laydown of an overpair ... New Full Tilt Beta upgrades... What happened to my re-sizable tables? FTPDOUG plz help if you're there... Just downloaded the new upgrades when I opened up FTP and now my re-sizable table feature isn't working. I was on all day long earlier and it was fine. I even opened the regular version to see if that was part of the new upgrades and if it worked there, but they aren't working on either the beta or the regular.
