It should just be a home game for the team with the best record during the regular season. Teams won't sit starters at the end of the season any more (like the Colts blowing their chance at a perfect season last year) and it would make for some more entertaining week 16's and 17's. It would be cool to watch a super bowl in Green Bay or Chicago or Cleveland.

You might have too many things open at once. Supposedly it slows the computer down a lot if you have safari and mozilla open at the same time. Also, I just picked up on this yesterday, the programs don't close out by simply hitting the red x in the upper left hand corner (like PC's), you actually have to "quit" the program. You might already know all of this (I'm computer stupid and my wife taught me all that stuff).

It's hard to take the Jets seriously with Sanchez as quarterback. At least go out in the off season and get somebody that could compete with him for the starting job or step in when the Jets realize he's the next Kyle Boller/Joey Harrington. I love their defense though.

Weeds has def. had the biggest dropoff of any show I've liked. I think the problem is that they made Nancy a whore and I can't stand her now. It also developed the same problem Californication is starting to have which is that the storyline just isn't believeable (sp') anymore.

Some of you are way off base here..  The way Vegas sets a line is they want equal action on both sides..  They don't try to set a "trap" or get suckers to try to bet on a certain team.  They don't even set the line for what they think is going to happen. They set a line that they think half the people will bet each way.  I also wouldn't look into some of the stats you see online (like 80% of the money is being bet on the Vikes).  If this was the case the line would have moved or even been taken of the board for a day.

I don't think a player on a non-playoff team should win the MVP.. When I think MVP I like to think what player could you take off a playoff team, and it would immediately make them a non-playoff team.  The obvious answer is Miguel Cabrera.  I think The Yankees still make the playoffs without Tex, and the Angels still make it without Morales.  On the other hand, if the Tigers replace Cabrera with Tex or Morales, are they still a playoff team''  I think its close.  I've watched a good bit of Tigers games this year (I'm an Indians fan), and he is the heart and soul of that team (with ...

If the story is true (I don't think it is) and Seattle could have picked 5 of those players, they def. should have done it. Lets say they pick Buchholz, Bard, Masterson, Hagadone, and Bowden. Everything I read says Buchholz is going to be an ace. He will never be Felix, but lets say he turns into someone like AJ Burnett.. Bard is a year away from being a lights out closer. Masterson is a solid number 3 pitcher, who could also develop into a #2. Hagadone is a lefty who was clocked at 98mph the other day, and Bowden is also a highly regarded starter... As an Indians fan, I'd much rather trade Cliff Lee than Victor.. Victor is the heart and soul of our team and I think he is a championship player. No way we sign Lee after next year and we aren't going to be a World Series contender next year. I'm hoping the Phillies lose out on Halladay so they might overpay for Lee.. We'll take Drabek, Carrasco and Brown for Lee in a second....

A lot of good center fielders that should be in the conversation. Sizemore, Granderson, Beltran, Josh Hamilton, V. Wells, T. Hunter, Victorino and Upton. I think Adam Jones would still be in the second category with Ellsbury and C. Young.

No injuries. A lot of players not playing well though. We have those handful of Latin players that can't play until it's over 90 degrees outside. We have got unlucky in a couple games (also gotten lucky in 2 though), not hitting with runners on, have the worse manager in baseball, struggling bullpen, we are just overall trying to find ways to lose games. It's pretty depressing actually. My stomach hurts.

As a baseball fan, a good test you can use to see which pitcher is more dominant is the chance you think your team has of beating a certain pitcher.. For example, I know the Indians have a two game series against Toronto this week. I immediately looked at the way Toronto's rotation would work out to see if Halladay would be facing Cleveland. Halladay is that dominant. When I see Cleveland is facing Halladay, I think "Shit, that's probably going to be a loss." It was the same thing when Santana was with the Twins. We had to face him 3-4 times a year and you go into the game ...
