I'm being a liaison and helping a friend find a reputable trader to buy his Merge. Message me if you are looking to deposit or know a rock solid buyer. He has: ~100k Carbon (Ineluctable) and would like: Preferably a Canadian or person who banks with BMO as that would be the simplest, but can take most major US banks if needed. merge 10k vip freeroll requirements?
Anyone know when this runs' I've just started playing on Carbon and I think I only need to become any level vip for the 10k. I can only see the $3,500 Either one in the lobby though, I can't see the 10k at all and no info from player admin or on the internet. Thx for any info

Think my first one online was the daily double. That was pretty cool because of the low buy in/big field and I went on to win a few more of that same one. IDK why but it was a good tourney for me, although I never got best finish or dbl final table or anything in the $12 ones (big doubles were smaller fields and easier to get best finish/dbl FT). Think the best I got was a 6th and a 20th and it wasn't good enough. IIRC Lab rat barley beat it and I was sure it was going to be enough, fucker :P I actually talked Doug into changing it from 2k to 3k stacks thinking that would help me and I don't ...

My first significant one (not a daily, over 10k) was in 1998 in Compton California (lol) at a place called the Crystal Park Casino and hotel. I knocked out Brad Daugherty (former wsop ME winner) at the final table when I limped in mid-late pos (lol, pre boom poker) with 66 and he checked his BB w/ J6. Flop came 6xx, cc( tarped him like Hellmuth!), turn J, he bet I raised, he shoved I snapped he cried unfair :P He was so butt hurt he didn't want his name added to the results and it shows up as "not available". I think what people need to kinda realize is networks that have this many skins, the skins are arguably just glorified affiliates. Yes they have to pay a fee and get to promote their own site how they want (within set parameters) etc, but in the end a skin owner is really nothing more than a affiliate, especially the ones that use the networks cashier and everything else and are just turn-key, white label type skins. Do You Have Any U.S. Online Poker Questions?

Don't play multi table tournaments with any consistency. Play them once and a while if you feel like it, but stick to cash games. These will truly eat you up man and take very special (insane, or lucky in the right spots) people to play them full time. My honest advice for you. gl either way.

Washington State Live Poker Tournaments
Muckleshoot has a series in early Sept, a 300, 500, and 1k. They are adding 50k to the series, check their website. I played the last one and the structures were good, especially the 1k as it has a 20k stack and 45 min rounds. This sunday Tulalip has a $225 that will probably draw over 200 players. The reason UB and other sites are still up and running
Can you guys confirm that UB/AP said withdrawals are suspended TEMPORARILY' I've not heard that yet and I've only heard that they are suspended... period. I wondered why there was so much advertising of UB on the front page and the top of the forum. The front page here had a UB ad that said "USA players welcome!". I guess that makes more sense now if withdrawals are suspended only temporarily, but otherwise it was a bit concerning. This is a mess for everyone. I understand it's not just players, affiliates were hit like none other as well. I'm not trying to point a finger at P5's for ...

If you can't hold 80+ percenters in key spots, you will never win. Simple as that. Oh, and variance can take more then a life time to even out, just hope you are one of the ones on the good side of it. If not, depending on how bad it is (because you can still win at -ev) you may want to quit. This is why cash games are a better bet though. mtt's are not as skill dependent and you may never recover b/c not only do you need to run good to get your numbers back to ev even, but this can be skewed because now you have to look at key pots. Life time you hope to have your 70/30's run at 70/30 etc ...

This could/should just be a processor issue and hopefully will be resolved soon. I searched around a bit, including the other forum, and didn't see a thread on this anywhere so it makes me think this is not widespread yet and just temporary. There also doesn't seem to be any recent legal reason for it.
