Re:Seriously looking for some advice
BIG mistake telling your wife you'll 'cash out' anything. When you want to play just play with what you can afford to lose, build up a BR if u can but never tell her how much u have, or how much you lost that day, or that she can have a cut of your winnings LOL you gotta tell her poker is your hobby and you love playing, that's why you are going to the casino, not to 'pad your income'. Then tell her after awhile you're pretty much even haha

Re:Micro Cash game players...(win rate)
ya thats tru, i find playing within my bankroll i don't get tilted from a suckout or a bad play (which happens often lol) as much, i just move on and keep playin =) I think you're right about the buy in, i could also just buy in for $6 or $7 if there are enough players there that are that deep. sweet might test the waters out today then =D

Re:Micro Cash game players...(win rate)
the thing is for the 0.05 level u can buy in for 200 BB's, and most ppl say always buy in for the max. I would personally hate to be in a hand with a guy with 200BB's and only be able to get half haha How many tables do you play' I've got about 22k hands at 2NL

Micro Cash game players...(win rate)
Just wondering what kind of win rate other pppl are getting in the micro stakes. I'm thinking 0.01-0.02, and 0.02-0.05 limits. Just want to have see what some of the better players are getting and have something to aim for. Also, to play 0.02-0.05 level, is $150 bankroll enough or should I wait to hit $200. My plan is to wait to $200 but if there is no dif in skill levels between the stakes i'm kinda wasting my time playing 2 cents right' I mean if i'm winning there.

Re:Making Supernova playing .01/.02 NLH
I don't think u even earn VPP's at that level. I think you have to play 25NL, and for SnG's it's $5 + edit: nvm, i'm a liar.

Re:Poker Bankroll Questions
I personally think this is the best advice, why start at .50-1 if you have no idea if you can beat it. Start low, work on your game and not worry so much about making real money. aside from that, isn't 30 buy-ins pretty safe'

Re:What percentage of flops do you usually see?
well there's alot of limping at these stakes, what are you supposed to do if u have 2-4 limpers before you...still raise if you wanna play the hand' or should you starting hand requirements tighten up even wtih limpers'

I'm tryin to represent a strong ace here, i was betting that he was a little weak, whcih i was right but he jus didn't believe me and i kinda chickened out on the river with the weak bet. What should I be looking for when selecting a table to play cash games????
I have been going for tables with high pct of players seeing the flop and larger pots...so like i won't pick a table that has a large avg pot, but low pct of players seeing the flop (tight table), or vice versa - loose table , low pots. I'll pick something with a good avg. Is that right' Thanks

Re:help with hand plz
Well i'm not looking to give any advice to anyone around here but my thoughts are this... I count around 11.4K in the pot, you have to call 4k (2.85:1'), implied odds are huge right' and you have position...why not see a flop'' My question is what is a proper range to put this guy on... Is this too big ... 22+, AK, AQ'' or is it more likely to be alot tighter than that' like 1010+, AK. The guy might be thinking he's just attacking the blinds from the button so his range could be bigger right'

Going throught hand histories...
Is there a program or something out there that makes it easy to search through hand histories' I want to seach through and find specific hands like where i have AA, or KK etc. Basically i just started playing 0.01/0.02 NL and after 3000 hands i have a profit of 5.7 BB/100 hands. My feeling is that is pretty brutal for these stakes, i feel like i'm a much better player than that but i just wanted to start at the bottom and really get experience and build BR before jumping up. I feel like it's the hands like AA, KK, QQ that are costing me alot. I do win alot with them but it's ...

Re:.01/.02 NL to .05/.10 NL
So, I just started playing 0.01 / 0.02 as well. I wanna start at the bottom, build/manage bankroll properly, and prove that I can win at each level before moving up. So, the common way to track profit it BB / 100 hands' And, what would be a good goal in terms of win rate' Also, how many buy-ins should u have for the level you are playing in' 20 to 30''' Edit Wait, more questions... What kind of % of flops should I be looking to see' And should I really be multi tabling''' I play 3 or 4 right now, and i dunno, i can't really keep track of whats happening on the tables, but with 1 or ...

AKo - How could / should I have played this hand???
It seems to me that maybe I should have tried to keep the pot low instead of shoving on the river. Should I have folded on the flop with a gutter ball and 2 overs' Then when I hit my ace i really didn't want to commit all my chips, but ended up doing that anyway, i'm sure the guy would have shoved on me anyways.
