Cereus meeting place! Adrienne, I have become a loyal cereus network user over the past year and have noticed a few problems that should be dealt with promptly. The chat filter is absolutely heinous. Here are a couple examples...Have a good night= have a good ***ht, title of a book=***le of a book, who is on the button'=who is on the ****on' The filter also takes out random unoffensive words such as dumb or blow. At least make the chat filter optional. In HU sngs the ultra turbos have a giant gap from $35 to like $75 for the next ultra turbo. Every other structure includes $50, but not the ultra turbos. ... Re:Live FT hand - can i fold? What do you mean not working' This is a strong hand that you are trying to get value from, but you intend on stealing the blinds 90% of the time. You don't want to be committed to the only player at the table that can crush you. I am assuming that a 50k raise will commit you to all short stacks, but that is an acceptable investment. Final note, if you don't plan to fold to anyones ai after your raise, then shove yourself and put the decision on them to decide for their tournament life. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

What went down and what most of you are saying what jb could have. I honestly think all of you saying that he is probably beat 90% is drastic. It is really early in the tourney, I can see many players calling a reraise with suited connecters in this situation for the all in win compared to winning 180 chips. JB could easy have just like j10 in this situation. The only mistake you made was checking the turn. You throw 1 more bet out there and now he might think you had ak and caught on his 10. 1st time going to vegas... In a few weeks I will be turning 21 and going to vegas. I have been trying to plan out where I should play to make the most profit at a 1-2 no limit game and also at the no limit tournaments that are low $$$ as well. People that are winning tournaments...help I just had a simple question. Once a mtt gets down to about 20 players how does your play change' Are you generally playing the rest of the tournament like a sng or are you gambling and taking big risks' Which is better at this point of the tournament' I am a pretty decent sng player and once an 180 got down to about 16, I just played it like a sng and took it down. What works better over time though Building a huge stack with risky plays or just playing tag with the possibilities of blinds eating you up' Thank you for your responses in advance.
