So I got fired from my job....
wtf noobs' how does no one pick up on this' Jaybone, tell us how you're going about pretending you still have a job in order to fool your fam since you still live at home. Do you wake up and go to "work" like normal, only to grab a coffee or something and go home' What do you do' I'd much rather here about that then unemployment arguments and job search advice.

while we're at it, does anyone know why Renee Russo was casted as the hot chick in several movies' She is fugly and makes me cringe whenever there is a somewhat sexual scene.

Bigger Grind? Cash games or MTT's?
This is probably true and your ability to win hundred of Ks in cash is severely limited. It really hard to move up to msnl and above because the game are tougher. But the games remain pretty soft up to like 100nl and 200nl. If you're halfway decent and can put in some hours then you can win a very good amount (relative to real world jobs) playing ssnl, especially with rakeback. And it's substantially more consistent than any other form of lower limit poker imo.

Bigger Grind? Cash games or MTT's?
I've been playing online poker for like 6 yrs now and for the first 4 or so I was primarily a tourney player. SNGs/MTTs. Ground up a pretty decent ROI in the SNGs and binked a few decent scores in the mtts, but never enough to ball like all the mtt pros. I lost interest in poker and quit for a while. The variance of the mtts was pretty annoying and the frequency of seeing absurd suck/re-suck boards in SNGs made me give up taking the game seriously like I wanted to make a giant sum or whatever. Fast forward about a yr ago and I am unemployed and playing for fun to pass the time for the day ...

Re:Are low and midstakes cash games easier at Stars than FTP?
I don't play ring games on stars either but the ssnl guys that post on 2+2 always say that stars is infested with mass multitablers grinding for supernova elite. I don't know the heirarchy of stars fpp labels, but I know some of the higher levels pay way better than the 27% rakeback gained on ftp. So it makes sense for there to be lots of bot players. not sure what level you play but there are still a ton of bad players in the ssnl player population on ftp so long as you table select well.

Tourney Length
Does anyone else think it would be helpful for the sites to list the avg length it takes to complete the tourney' They have basically the same daily schedule and the weekend tourneys are scheduled the same every weekend, besides whatever tourney series is going on atm. You would think by now they have some good data on approx. how long each tourney takes. I know in my case I don't play so many of these large field weekend donkaments because I may not be feeling like I want to commit to 12+hrs of play, but would play for like 6-8hrs. I may be willing to play if I knew how long I'd have ...

Re:Why Did Players Only Switch Networks and Ruin Thier Site?
just play on pstars or ftp and not worry about it. there are just as many donks as a % of the total player pool on the big sites as there are on the obscure tiny sites.

Re:Live Cash Game 2-5 1300$ pot- what are the ranges?
this is such a retarded thread. you have a villian who you descibe to have a though process of fap fap fap, and you're hand's line makes no sense either, but we're supposed to somehow put both of you on a range. right... Honestly I don't know what you bloat a pot with oop after raising what's likely only ~50% of the pot at that point pre. He probably has some dumbshit 2pr and you lose or have QQQ. nh.

Re:Poker and Nationalities
lol i love these entire nation bashing threads. that said, i err on the side of the villain being retarded when their country is France, Italy, Spain, South Korea, China, and sometimes Russia. Russia is harder because those dudes are usually either absurdly aggro or the nittiest of the nits, rarely anything in between.

Re:3/6 nl live .....
Would be nice if we had knowledge of the total pot and how much we have left in our stack. At that point it's just a simple math problem, and if we're getting the correct odds then call all day. lol so simple.

lolwat' go do something else ffs. if you don't feel like playing, why force yourself to grind for potentially 12hrs+' Poker will be here tomorrow, next week, and years from now. Your time is really what's scarce, not the opportunities you have to bink giant scores.
