Re(2): I'm not sure what to title this post. Does anyone recognize The_Toaster on UB Well, like you said one day is one day. I can accept that but i lost alot of money on that one day. Some hands just wouldnt' hold, frustration took over, and i tried to force my way out of tought situations. i took most of the money off prior to monday b/c of what someone posted a frew weeks back about having his money stolen out of his accout. ironically the last withdrawl i made hasn't gotten to my neteller account yet and its quite frustrating. What i was also trying to emphasize was wether or not i was playing over my skill level by playing the 20s or if my play was weak. I was trying to ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I'm not sure what to title this post. Does anyone recognize The_Toaster on UB So i decided to play again after i was very much dicouraged by party poker. I started playing on UB 20 sng's. I played well over what my bankroll allowed but for the first few weeks i couldn't complain. I cashed out alot of my winnings, the past week and a half i raked in 700 + on UB 20 sng, and some 30 sng. I did however, lose the rest of my bank roll on Monday, i had 300 on there and i cashed out the rest the week before. I used Adam's strategy for the most part but adopted some of my own strategy as well. Played low pockets when i could, suited connectors in late position, some stealing. ... I think my poker career is over, any advice? Hey Guys- i started playing on pp a few weeks ago, it went well. I played mostly limit and some sng's. I finished in the money in a few sng's and mostly placed around 4 or 5. I used adam's advice on playing the top four hands but i noticed once you got down to the bubble period it was too late and the blinds were too big to do much. You had to risk your stack on the first decent hand and most likely it would get cracked. Also the players in those low limit sng's seem to be less experienced but it still seems difficult to beat them since they can hold any two cards. YOu may have ak and they ... Question for Adam? Hey Adam. i read your tournament strategy article for sng. I tried to use it, and had marginal luck with it. it may be the players i'm playing against or most likely me. Is there any other alternatives you can suggest to be successful at sng, or is there any one who gives lessons for a decent price. I would really appreciate any help. thanks ocon Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Is poker room the best site for the avg. player? hey guys- what is the quality of play on poker room. are the player pretty weak, decent, good. Mostly my concern is in the upper limit sit n go's. Are there other recommended sites where an above average guy can take down some wins fairly consistantly. thanks Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Another Sit n go question It seems like you have to play many sit n gos to learn the ins and out of tournament play. I'm up for that i like the sit n go's better any way. However, do you play the cheap ones to gain the experience or go out on a limb and play the 50-100 dollar ones to take down some wins along your path to learning. I've played many 100 on pokerroom and did really well a frew months back but now when i play i cant seem to get over the hump. What do you guys out thier recommend. Do you think i was to loose in the first few rounds of the tournament that is seeing to many hands' thanks to all that ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Best way to become a better player Hi everyone- i have some questions regarding my game. I do however, believe i'm pretty good. I've had some good weeks playing poker. I played the 100 dollar buy in tourneys on poker room and won 8500 bucks, and also had a good week on poker stars where i won 1500 and i've also went to the casionos and played holdem and usually far pretty well. I'm wondering how become a better tournament player. Although i had some luck i dont believe i really understand the ins and outs of tournament play. What do you suggest i do to become one of those guys who doesn't have problems making it to the money. ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
