Question for heads-up SNG'ers If I wanted to make a hundred dollars a day, playing no more than 2 tables at a time, what sort of roll and what level would I need to play to be able to consistently do this...' Thinking I could play 30 dollar heads-up matches for 4-5 hours and with a reasonable win rate accomplish my goal. And also thinking I'd need about 1000 dollars to do this. Am I crazy or does this sound doable' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Final Table Strategy- Play like SNG or use Small Ball approach? Dude. This is an SNG. 9 players with relatively equal chip stacks fighting for 3 spots with blinds that increase quickly... I'm assuming your stack sizes are based on hours logged or something like that. Otherwise, what did the blinds of the tourney start out at, 1-2''' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Most satisfying play in Poker? Easy. Deep in mtt, getting dealt AA in bb and sitting out, just waiting for someone to raise late in pos thinking that's one less person to beat. then sitting in, smooth-calling, and check-raising the flop when you know the guy's just too stubborn to read between the lines and check behind. Fulltilt Checks Just put in a withdrawal request via check. Site says 15 business days but that feels like a lot even for regular mail. Curious if others have experience and how long it took. I live in Los Angeles. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Is this too spewy? This is a situation I would advocate just pushing after he checks to you on the flop. Because of the stack sizes, he has a good opportunity to push over the top of your continuation bet (as strong or as weak as it is) with a hand like ak or aq. Since you're in decent shape against his range of hands, a call wouldn't be the end of the world but you'd much rather him fold. And he won't call a push with ak or aq here imo. If he's going to check-raise you and you're going to be committed to call anway, you might as well just push. Personally, I don't like overbetting the pot with an all-in ... Bankroll Question (Want to turn 1200 into 4000 in a month) Hello, I have 1200 bucks on Full Tilt, and I'd like to cash out 4000 on or around January 25th. Definitely better at sng's than cash games, though I fare okay in cash games. I'd say I'm inconsistent at best in MTT's (have had some big scores but not very often). What would be your best recommendations for how to do this' Is it unrealistic' Obviously the goal would be to average a profit of 100 dollars a day, which I've done in the past for a week or two, but then I get loose with my standards and start buying into cash games way over my head. I suppose if someone had a solid recommendation ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Fulltilt and Epassporte I want to make a withdrawal from FullTilt through Epassporte but I have never used Epass to deposit there (I just use a debit card). Does anyone know if I need to make an epass deposit before I withdrawal through them' When I try to withdrawal, it takes me to a "how to set up an epass account" page. But I already have an Epass account so I'd like to just initiate the withdrawal. If anyone has encountered the same issue, please let me know what you did. Thank you. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Interesting Cash Game Hand...Did I donk this? 6-Handed, 1-2 nl on Stars. I have 190. I raise it to 6 dollars UTG with QJ hearts. Small Blind reraises to 20. I call hoping to hit a big flop, because I am sure he will come all in with his AA or KK (which I am pretty sure he has by the way he's been playing; he has 190 behind too). Flop was 9H 10H JD...Top pair, openended straight flush draw for me. He bets out 40 (size of pot), and now I have a decision to make. I know I am 60-40 vs AA, and slightly less vs KK, but I know he's calling me if I push, and I am also pretty sure he's going to pay me off if I hit my hand anyway. IE, even if I ... Re(1): should AA ever be slowplayed in a cash game? if you reraise pre, same result, as he will undoubtedly push...since your read on the guy was that he'd get all in with tptk, smooth calling is not terrible and probably will work out more often than not....just bad luck in this particular instance...the other thing you have to ask yourself is what types of hands will he call or repush preflop...ie, will he call a reraise to 30 with any two or only a huuuuge hand...
