Re:Easy fold or easy call? well I did fold, so I guess that makes me a donkey It bothered me that I DID fold, but it didn't really matter because I had QQ 5 hands later, got them all in pre-flop against AJ and that was that. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Poker is not a sport Sport would normally be associated with an athletic endeavour, but then again archery and shooting are sports, but are more mental than physical activities. Also, a sport should not be subjective but objective - who ever has the highest/lowest score (e.g. football, golf) or who is fastest in a race makes it a sport. Any activity that requires judging should NOT be defined as a sport, such as figure skating, gymnastics, diving, etc. The people who perform in these games are definitely athletes but they are not sportsmen or women. So, as a mental activity, a physical activity (sitting for 10 ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Poker Tracker for MTT's I would recommend it, although I have stopped using it regularly now. It really helped me analyze my game, and showed up glaring problems especially re position (you could easily get my chips when I awas 3 in front of the BB!). I split the hands into 3 categories (should play, could play, muck) and analyzed each group on a monthly basis - it helped me see where I overplayed AK or JTs, etc. I mostly play MTT and SnGs, so it's not only a ring game analyzer. Re(1): Pokerstars "HANDICAP" system Checking my stats on PokerTracker the statistical trend over the 'long term' is dead on with the math - Aces win most 80%, then KK, etc. etc. Obviously there are blips from time to time but I believe that the sites are fair and honest. Although it is possible it's highly unlikely. I'm sure it would have been leaked by a disgruntled employee. Posted in: Bad Beats |

Re(1): More ABSOLUTE PROOF POKERSTARS IS SO RIGGED AND PREDICTABLE...LOOK AT THIS HAND On the first hand, surely you have to bet the flop there. You've called his pre-flop raise and you have no idea where you are in the hand. I would bet out then follow-up on the turn. I think you could lose less chips and have an idea what's going on. If he smooth calls, it smells of a set and you could slow down come the river. On the second hand, RiverStars strikes again, but then again it's a race and it hurts more because you were still thinking of the first hand. Posted in: Bad Beats |
