Reoccurring spot in NL Cash games.
Hey man Sorry for the lack of info... I want to say in the most recent occasion it was like a 2 9 4 rainbow... no over cards, just a big pot bet from the PF raiser and i would say the player has not really been very active. .... as far as the age of the player goes.... Do 60 year olds really play online poker ' I thought they were all in the brick n Mortar casinos complaining that every online site is a cheat :) .... Big Fan of Bend Oregon to BTW ... You going to Brew Fest out in Portland on july 28.

Reoccurring spot in NL Cash games.
I have had this spot happen to me three times in the past two days playing and wanted to get the opinions of others as the correct play. Mid - Earl position dealt a Pocket Pair like 99 - JJ seat to the right open raises ..... and bet's pot on the flop. So i have been calling the pre flop raise and after missing my Set of 99's or JJ's the first person to act bet's the pot.... I am assuming they have a premium hand of some sort and have been folding. I just hate to think i am folding to a AK who missed the flop, but am worried i would be calling into a QQ -AA... Is there a ...

Anyone playing on BODOG? Thoughts
Hey folks .. I was a poker stars/full tilt player and just recently heard in a live game that bodog was still US legal... So i through a little money on BODOG and have been playing the Micro NL tables... I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the type of players you find on BODOG ... I have been playing a couple of days and notice it is hard to find games sometimes anyone offer any advice to a new bodog player'

Figuring out where i stand as a poker player. 1 /2 nl live .
Confused on where I stand as a poker player. I am aware I’m not the best and aware I am not the worst, but how do I figure out where I truly stand as a poker player. My gut tells me I have what it takes, friends and family tend to agree and support my ambition. However, after a recent trip to the card room I am shadowed with doubt. Hey thanks for the advice. But i am curious if i am raising pre flop with 10 10 with only 23bb's and let's say i get called and two over cards drop and i miss my set Normally i am folding here to a bet.... Is this too tight' .. I am still able to fold if i miss with roughly 20 BB remaining . Not disagreeing with you necessarily just would like a little more information on the benefits of raising pre flop with this hand as opposed to just limping in . Thanks!

. I must say ... Im pretty burned out on these Micro MTT"S.. so much work to get 30$ Honestly thinking about only buying into tournaments over 20$ at least when i bust out deep ITM ill get more than 6$ an hr. Has anyone else written off these small tournaments ' or feel that the huge fields are just making it even more difficult to be a successful player' I view successful players tournament history's all the time on here and i almost never see those guys entering a tournament under 10$ even when they were just getting started.

Well to be honest i started with 170$ and have it up to 3k know... I have only had four sessions. NW25th you a live grinder' I am thinking of flying out to vegas for about 5 days and playing poker daily for a while to see what it is like... Right now my only option is playing in Biloxi, MS at the Beau and the IP casino there.. Would love to know more about live grinding if you have experience,

I was wondering how much of a bank roll would be necessary to play 2/5nl ' I do have a job with money coming in so the requirements can be a little more risky..., but what type of roll should i be trying to acquire for this 2/5 game'

We'll i do not mind depositing more . I just figured there would not be much of a difference in how folks played until .10 - .25 or so... 200 buy ins a sufficient Bankroll to start with for .02 -.05'

Has anyone tried building a bankroll with this game' or one of the other micro nlhe cash games' I have put in roughly 5 hours of play multi tabling 6 tables at once and my bankroll is just breaking even so i do not have a whole lot of experience with it yet, but it seems like it might take me a life time to make any money at these games. is building up a bank roll at this level is worth the trouble. Part of me says if i cant beat the .01- .02 game no reason in going up to higher stakes, but i could be wrong . I m planning to start investing 3 hours a day into grinding this game and before i ...

Grinding .01 - .02 NLHE questions.
Has anyone tried building a bankroll with this game' If so ... were you successful and able to move up in limits' . How many tables were played at a time... what kind of profit can a winning player expect' . Any info on this topic would be very helpful!

How does Multi Tabling help your game? and could you be profitable running just 1 table instead?
Let me first say i am aware that seeing more hands offers more potential for bigger profits, but i also wanted to know if there were any other reason's why players find Multi Tabling to be beneficial to there game. Also, do you feel that without Multi Tabling would you still be able to be a successful ONLINE player' Would love to hear everyones comments on this..
