Sorry to say, there is no such thing as Tax free if you are a US Citizen. I'm a tax accountant. Wish i had better news.

Re:American pros, why don't you move to Canada?
If you are a US Citizen, you pay US taxes on your worldwide income, irrespective of where you live. You would have to renounce citizenship and become a citizen of another country to stop this being a fact.

Re:FT Stole my Bankroll..(then gave it back)
Changed the Title and added the following. So cudos to FT, finally. after about a dozen messages at the weekend they gave me my account back and cashed out my BR. Want to thank them for reviewing and resolving this. Guess I am one of the lucky 0.01% Thanks Full Tilt.

Re:Full Tilt Stole my Bankroll..
I'm just frustrated, because i want to deal with this, and am getting no response from them. Its not a lot of cash, $500, but it was my first cashout, so it's a big deal for me. I'll wait til i hear from them and let you know if it gets resolved.

Think I'll write to Barney Frank, as well as my lawyer, let him know of some additional thoughts for his proposed legislation to stop these companies ripping off their customers.

Re:Full Tilt Stole my Bankroll..
Hard to clear this up when they won't respond, don't have a phone number for me to call and discuss with them. This is really frustrating. Feel like I've been mugged in the street, beaten up and had my wallet stolen.

FT Stole my Bankroll..(then gave it back)
So cudos to FT, finally. after about a dozen messages at the weekend they gave me my account back and cashed out my BR. Want to thank them for reviewing and resolving this. Guess I am one of the lucky 0.01% Thanks Full Tilt. So I tried to cashout from full tilt yesterday, first time. It was declined. I send them a note, they closed my account, wtf. Now they won't respond about how I get my bankroll off the site. They told me I had duplicate accounts. I had an original account with them that was hacked and my b/r stolen, twice. I asked them to close it, asked for their permission to ...

Re:Durrrr having a laugh
Yep, this was a $500/$1000 cash table. Durrrr claimed he had been up for 24 hours and was still 2 tabling, 3 betting most hands preflop. His $1m reraise was with AK against Gus Hansen who called with QQ for about a $420k pot. QQ held. Table broke soon after. According to several sources, Durrr was down about $200k on the session across both tables.

Congrats Jeff710 / Youngsupremacy
Since nobody else said it, I want to congrat Jeff Hakim for taking down FTOPS #15. To my mind, he is one of the most consistent players, a great talent and regularly overlooked. This time last year he was P5's ranked mid 50's and quite rightly so. Congrats Jeff, well played, and many more.

Justin Bonomo and the PCA Battleship event.
Just curious, reading Justin's blog, he says he played the Battleship event at the PCA. Since it's played on pokerstars, how did he manage to play the event since he is banned from stars. Curious of Durham. Just in case you want to read it for yourself, I'm not promoting it.

Re(1): Ban JJ from PCA campaign
I don't have an opinion one way or the other, but Stars did set a prescedent last year by letting Zee Justin Bonomo play. I would have thought they would have had to make a statement last year, rather than this year. If they do ban JJ, should they ban Zee this year too '

Re(3): General advice, flopping Quads.
Thanks for the advice.. there had been a lot of raise reraise.. but here I flat called his flop bet.. check/check the turn.. I was hoping he would catch a pair or bluff me, and he folded my 50% of the stack bet on the river. Cheers

General advice, flopping Quads.
Interested in opinions... Playing 1/2 nl hu cash on stars, been playing this guy for about 10 mins, we both have about a full buying $200. 95% raise 3x bb pre called 75% of the time or reraised. I have 4s 7s, I call standard 3x raise. Flop 4h 4d 4c. He bets 15. I flat called. For you cash experts, would you reraise here, make it look like a power play... ohtobe.

Re(1): Low limit grinder - time to throw in the towel despite making a profit? Advice appreciated
Quit or move up. Decide how much would make you happy per day, $300, $500, then work on a plan to move up. Do 100 $20 sng's and if you are profitable, move up til you are making your target. $33, then $50 then $100 sng's. Set yoursel a stop loss, if you dont make a profit or a target at each new level, then pack it in.

This is the year - Ship it and Good luck
To all you P5'ers out there playing the Main Event. Just want to wish each and every one of you the best, play your A+ game and avoid the coolers. I have a feeling in my old bones that one of you youngsters is gonna take it down this year. Sure as hell the P5's mob has the talent, insight and balls to ship it. Looking forward to watching you all at the Final Table. done deal.

Just turn off the comments, observer and player. click options, (top right) and turn offer player and observer chat. that way, you wont see their comments, and hopefully they wind themselves into tilt state by talking to themselves.
