Re:Kinda sick spot 100r FT i think what rock is trying to say is that just because it's +cEV that doesn't make it the best play, which is correct, if i ran the math on it it's prolly a fold because of $EV, i'm lazy tho if anyone wants to run the math that'd be cool... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Kinda sick spot 100r FT if danza calls with TT+ AQ+ then there's really no difference between 44 or 99 in this spot nor is there a difference with ATs or A4s etc., so those ranges might be accurate if villain is a retard. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:not sure if this was ok...stars 109r no reads i think you have to fold, i guess that means you don't use a hud' to breakeven on the 3bet which is effectively a shove hansou would only need to be opening around something like 14% of hands, if hansou is opening 20% of hands then the play is +cEV by about 3bb's assuming hansou is only 4betting 99+AQ+. So really what matters is what % of hands you think he's opening from this position. if hansou is a loose aggressive player he's probably opening wider than 20% since all you need for 20% is any pair and any ace, he'd probably open quite a few suited connectors, ... Re:HSMTT FT-Bubble spot in Sunday FTP 150k Gtd. 12,500 + 10,000 + 264,536 + 264,536 + 450,456 = 1,002,028 450456/1002028 = .449 how could 38% be right by just looking' there's 551,572 in the pot before we act, that's not even 1.5-1 and with 1.5-1 we'd need at least 40% Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:HSMTT FT-Bubble spot in Sunday FTP 150k Gtd. 43% would be the breakeven point. Basically a nitbox shoves utg with more than 10bbs on a ft bubble of a major, then as mentioned the tightest guy from utg+1 decides to put his stack in vs a nitbox. So basically 2 nitboxes from UTG and UTG1 put their stacks in @ a sunday major ft bubble. i fold. edit: thought title said 750k, i'm not sure exactly what tourney the 150k is so this might not be a "sunday major", just wanted to clear that up. Re:Are 1 table SnG's still profitable ? Depends what limits imo, i would never be playing 300s+ unless i was completely perfect at them, which i think they would still be tough to beat due to them not running and much less action now days. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
