Anyone not getting 2 pair in the 3r here? lol never folding... you'll see such a retarded range of hands here 4bet u, id personally have played it the same... sometimes mess around and donk lead and watch random Kx and draw hands freak out for all their chips... id consider folding this in a 20+ mtt to a solid player, never to a random or in a lower buy in. Do I have to get it in with TT here? where were you when i was grinding the micro/low limits' pretty much everything he said... nit it up and get paid in micros... my 4bet range is like AKs, QQ+ here when i say nit it up i mean in spots where u have no FE/room to manuever... rape and pillage preflop and when they play back at u they pretty much always got it, dont level yourself and think they're playing your range... they got dealt the nuts they didnt grow a pair of them. OK, last HH advice...taking a shot $55 Daily 90... i agree with having a raise folding range on < 20x getting u more action, which i do... but its def not coming from that spot. if i were to open there utg on 15.2x i think its pretty obvious im calling a shove.... fwiw im probably open jamming anything im intending to play from UTG there. i agree theres a time to use levels and exploit my thinking-- opening and be light from that spot, but with 150ish ppl left in the 90k isnt the time imo. can anyone recommand some tourney on FTP? click lobby when u open FTP, choose lobby view as standard. under the browse tab select tournaments. you can set your filter according to what types of tournaments you want to see whether it be all cash tournaments/only ones with guarantees/sattelites or all of them. dont be scared to click buttons. dont really have much for recommendations on tournys- any 26token and under seems soft enough. FTP super turbos discussion i know for a fact that is entirely too tight... im not exactly sure how far off tho... personally, im shoving my 10x effective utg way way way wider than that. especially at the start where everyone is ~10x- i find people calling almost as wide as im shovin so whatever, gambols... any pair, any suited ace, any broadway, any suited conn/gappers 78+/810+, K9s, and Q9s. if some1s sure thats off feel free to correct me. id be interested in hearing people who've had good success in these opinions on general shoving ranges... for instance do u tighten up ur range if say u got two early doubles and ... Line check w/ QQ in 50-50 yea i got exactly 1.4 on river before he bets... in retrospect i think by jamming for only 1k more he'll call with hands i beat, if he got Kx nh gg ul etc, but i felt like there was a lot of ways to go here it wasnt so cut and dry. i think theres a lot of value left out there by most people and it adds up, thats why i was wondering here. more opinions plz. Line check w/ QQ in 50-50 ty for all the responses but i was kinda hoping for a street by street breakdown... like flop im flatting because his range here is huge, im expecting him to be check raising most kings in this spot turn im flatting again because theres a possibility he has a king and i dont want to raise/call off here... i want to allow him to bluff rivers in the occurance hes drawing, also allowing myself to make value from worse pairs on the river if he checks to me river i flat the same bet as the turn cuz it just screams like a call me bet... i almost wanted to raise here for value but i didnt think hed ... mtt to cash question make sure u get rakeback sir, and also as advised start low. 25nl rush is prob best, where u can get off to a strong start and build some confidence/while also putting in a ton of volume fast... starting as low as 10 is pretty useless if you have half a brain as im sure anyone with basic 3bet/cbet strategy can crush that. 50nl is prob where ull start to feel like theres some decent players around, anything under that im sure you wont have a hard time adjusting to fresh off making the transition from mtts.
