Re(1): R.I.P. Imper1um
Its shameful to keep hearing about online pro after online pro getting outed like this. I don't play tourneys much but if I made the FT of the Million there would be no way I'd ship my account out to someone else... how friggin rewarding would that win be' Just wonder how bad the problem is here over in the cash game world...

Re(1): officially on life tilt
Nothing surprising... Full Tilt delivers more bad beats, suckouts and set-ups than any other site out there... millions of customers served...

Re(1): What is the most buyins youve been up at a table in a cash game?
22.5 buy-ins...my second week of playing on-line poker... $45 on a .01/.02 table on UB ($2 buy-in). Haven't come close since!

Re(1): Bankroll question
I would combine all three of the sites when figuring out your bankroll. Does it really matter to you if you play a 100 MTT on Bodog' It may be 1/7th of your roll there, but its really 1/100th of your overall roll and I don't think you'd feel you were "scared money" because of that. I actually have a bank account set up outside of the poker sites that has the portion of my roll that I don't need to keep in the site accounts. I consider that as part of my roll too and move the money out of the poker sites to there when it gets too much (no need to keep too much in the sites earning no ...

Re(2): new guy. b.r. help at u.b.
"If you do opt for the cash games, know that UB has the largest rake in the industry. 10% with no cap. " Did I miss something on UB' I'm pretty sure the cap on the rake is $3 like most sites.

Re(1): I tilted my roll away on ftp last night.
We all feel a little bit of tilt if u play enough, but why buy into a 5/10 game with 200' Also curious why u didn't think his calling range on the flop didn't include a king or a set to go along with the other hand possibilities.

Re(1): Maybe best play I ever made?
Looks like an obv chip dump to me... :-) I have no problem with the PF call in BVB with position. Obv your read on him was good, including all the way to the river, but I woulda likely flat called there. I don't think u had that much fold equity on him and the range you would be beating on that board is pretty small.

Re(2): Some 1/2NL live advice.
I thought the turn checkraise amount was fine... he just fished out on you. However, you could have played it differently by leading out on the flop instead, or just folded to the overbet after you checked the flop.

Re(1): Damn Rizen was rooting for you but WTF
Rizen obviouly had a read on the guy as not ABC and went with it. I do agree though... the flop raise doesn't make sense to me. Don't have to justify one single HH when you are as good as he is.

Re(1): How to avoid take a shot (sorta long)
I'd agree that multi-tabling 1.10 SNG's might be more productive in building your bankroll and also provides some variety, so maybe that is the way to go. I have to say I'm impressed with your discipline and bankroll management at these limits... not many would resist the temptation to move up, including me. Hope it works out!

Re(1): Niagara Falls live action
Fallsview 1/2 is pretty weak as noted... only problem is the low max buyin of 100. Takes a bit longer to build up a big stack that way. The 2/5 and 5/5 games are just as LAG, but with better players overall. Minimum age is 19 to play. I totally agree the play is the weakest on the weekends.

Re(1): Think this was a good time to squeeze?
How is this a squeeze' Now, Harrington squeezing Arieh and Raymer in the 2004 WSOP ME was the perfect "squeeze"

Re(3): help with 1/2 nl live
"Yea the play is horrible at $1/2 live. You just got to be patient. And with huge hands, I usually raise more. $25-$40 for KK and AA depending on the night." I find that kinda excessive... $25-40 preflop on 1/2'' I want to play at that casino... To the OP, I don't find the $15 raise a problem. In the long run, you will beat 1/2 live consistently if you are a good player. I find 2/5 and 5/5 players are usually better, so yes you will run into less bad beats, but it's probably a lower win rate at the higher levels.

Re(1): AA vs set...
I think you have to definitely reraise the flop here. Yes, the min raise is becoming a pretty common way to play sets, but he's in position and could be testing you with a KQ type hand, or a flush draw to potentially take a free card on the turn. The turn checkraise doesn't make any sense to me because he obviously doesn't appear to be afraid of that 3rd spade. You don't even have a redraw to the flush either.

Re(2): Recent Hand from $1/$2 live
future, I agree stack sizes are missing but I don't see the value in playing this hand faster on the flop. He is already playing OOP and flat calling the reraise is probably the cheapest way for him to get to see the turn. I don't have a problem flat calling the turn to build the pot either. It's a cash game and I'm fine with giving a guy with a set or two pair outs on the turn to increase my implied win. Of course, I'd probably play this hand much differently in a tournament, depending on blind level, stack sizes and the structure.

Re(1): Recent Hand from $1/$2 live
I thought you played it pretty well. I woulda flat called the turn as you did looking to get some more from the BB into the pot with the intention of leading out on the river regardless. You definitely cannot check the river and a $50 lead-out will not likely get called by a set, two pair, str8 or low diamond, so $25 is a decent suck bet that might look like a weak diamond, set or str8.

Re(1): Interesting Satellite Tourney Strategy/ Advice plz
Congratulations on winning the seat account99. However, I can't see how you could fold this hand. You're already half invested and holding an above avg HU hand... knowing it will be a HU race. With 29 to go to the bubble, I would think the antes would get you before the bubble for certain. If you fold here, you may not get another HU chance to race like this.

Re(5): Question about Live 1/2 NL.
I agree, sometimes 1/2 NL live can be like playing .25/.50 NL online. I don't really have a problem playing 1/2 NL live. Being the lowest NL limit in the casino benefits good players because you get the lowest common denominators playing at your table. It's a grind and obviously you can make more $/hour playing higher, but works for me since I'm only at the casino occasionally. Can't comment on the live 1/2 win rate... don't play it enough.
