Serious tipping thread.
Don't know when this became customary but I think it is a terrible practice that seems more common. The other day a server totally botched the entire dinner. She forgot our apps, never refilled our drinks and forgot to put in my son's order (always take care of the kids first b/c if they are not happy they make the parents unhappy, etc etc.) Anyway, when she brought back the change she shorted me like .40 Obv not a huge deal but I don't think they should ever short someone money. What if I wasn't planning on tipping her' ( I did give 10% btw which is the worst I have given in a longggg ...

Serious tipping thread.
Definitely got to sticky this thread. Today I was at the turn at a public golf course & ordered a dog and a gatorade which came to exactly $5. I handed him a $5 and said thank u and looked up and he was giving me a look to his tip jar that reads TIPS PLEASEEEEEE. I don't really advocate those jars but not gonna hate on em but srsly does this guy think that b/c I grabbed a Gatorade out of the cooler and he pulled a hot dog out and placed it on a bun that he is deserving of a tip' These are the ppl I want to smash

Do not listen to any of these 2 if you truly care about this woman. If you don't then do w/e u want but I was actually in Vegas when my exes father died and I flew back to be with her/help with kids etc. & if I hadn't she would have been very upset for sure and I was an ex. Few things more important then having the person u care about most being there when a loved one passes. Hope u do the right thing

if you could bring back any 2 series.....
Mine are two that I thought could have been really good and were cut really short. Ones like Seinfeld, Friends, Sopranos all ran their course and truth is they had ridiculous runs and have to end sometime. I wish What About Brian was back and Mad Love. I also like Single Guy & a few other ones like this.

Well you know the situation and the perpetrator and obv I hope you get all your $ (esp mine) . I dont know why ppl have such a hard time with reading comprehension on here. Just curious. Whether it be a friend or an ex or a parent or a child, what has someone done to you, whether $ wise or anything that you have forgiven. I am owed a ton of $ by a very close friend who I left $30k with ( didn't want to take it to Cali when I drove Vegas to San Diego to pick up my son & spend a week with him in So Cal.) in Vegas and when I got back he had lost it all. We are to this day best friends and he has yet to pay me back (only b/c he doesn't have it) and I would do anything for him. This thread is not about me and don't ask me who it is b/c I won't say but just curious ...

any chance this stays civil and doesn't turn into whining /bitching' If service is good I tip about 20% & if it's bad 10% . One thing I have never been concrete about is tipping on alcohol. If I buy $1000 bottle of wine ( I wouldn't ) , I srsly don't think I shd give server $200 for opening the bottle

I want to take my time and think about who the worst is but suggesting Namath nor Irvin be in shows that you don't really know too much about football (esp the Namath suggestion & I love Irvin and a diehard Boys fan) and comparing stats of one player to another lessens your argument. Reserve this spot for when I find someone who I believe doesn't belong. It will probably be in hoops For now it's Tom Yawkee who wasn't a player but is in the hall as an owner. I have never agreed with PGHfan more than I do in this thread. It baffles my fucking mind when people try to equate a contributing member of society with morals to someone who has been in and out of jail for a long time being tried for multiple felonies. Innocent of the crime accused of doesn't mean he is innocent. Don't jump on this and only bold some of it and rationalize that I am for killing someone who didn't do what he was on trial for. I am just saying plainly that all deaths are not equally tragic in my eyes and this guy was far from an 'innocent man'.
