You allowed him to make this play by playing way too passive.

Re:important security question about stars, please reply.
ok because I am very concerned that they will just lock out the accounts and I / my friend will lose 2k. We can both verify our identities, but why do they want all this sensitive information, like my bank statements and utilities' Is that normal' Wouldn't a copy of my id and maybe a phone bill be enough'

Re:important security question about stars, please reply.
they disabled both of our accounts. But there was no collusion at all and we ended up playing a game after I sent him the money so it's not like we were cheating.

important security question about stars, please reply.
Hello, Yesterday, I played against a buddy of mine whom I owe money to. Since I didn't have a significant amount of cash to spare, I offered to give him some of my winnings from poker stars. He agreed. We played 2-4 NL and I intentionally lost about 2400 Dollars from my account to him. I wasn't aware of the tranfer feature, since I've never used it. Well, someone came into our game and asked wtf we were doing. I explained it was just a friend I was giving money too, and he said oh ok, and left. I'm guessing he reported us, and now both of our accounts are locked. Obv I know ...

Re:$11 180 turbo grinders----hear ye, hear ye...
well I FT'd 3 of these out of 7 or 8 in 3 days. 1 time 2nd place and 2 other times 5th and 6th place. I lost the HU match JJ to J9 all in pre flop. and i lost the other match AA to AQ .... 3td 1 i just F'd up. But i managed ot FT these without even running very well. But I am a long term losing player, so maybe I was running well and didnt know it.

Re:Strange but amazing sharkscope?
i didn't see anything special about his play, he just played solid and bet at every flop he raised. if i called he chacked down to river. he won both games for the record ;-)

Re:Question to Middle/High Stakes Sng HU players.
im a pretty good HU player and i can say that the streaks can be HORRIBLE. The reason turbos can be so bad with it is because: -losing a single decent sized pot early can be devastating. You will be forced to make up ground with marginal cards a lot, before the 50-100 level. -you cant always have a big stack like in cash games. An early bad beat can ruin the whole game mentally if you are not conditioned to make comebacks. -you HAVE to play back at opponents, even if you are not getting cards. If someone is betting at every single flop and you miss all of them, you will be ground into the ...

Re:Step 5 - What's the right play?
you never should have re raised pre flop. You should have called and saw the flop. You were beat when he rr'd you all in, and a fold was proper. Why would he raise 100 UTG then Re-Squeeze after the action in front of him' Your RR over his opening raise and the call was a legit sign of strength. He is not shoving any of the marginal hands you mentioned. You still had 1k chips and the blinds were small, you could have found a better spot. just my .02

Idea for Admins / Mods
I think this may have been mentioned, but its about time to break the forum down into seperate sections / subforums so that it's more organized. This way, the people that want to discuss cheating / cashout problems / high stakes MTTs / Cash games / ETC will have a specific forum to go to, without having to read through 5 pages to find a thread.

i went on one in south fla and in myrtle beach. Neither were "poker cruises" but offered gambling (poker included) ... Rake was horrible, even by brick and morter standards, but the play was weak enough to make up for it. just work google for an hour.

Re:tough spot in fulltilt $163. Whats your line??
no offense man, but this is not a tough spot, and the fact that you're asking it makes me think you should move down in stakes. its self explanatory. -edit, i looked you up and you have a few wins. But still, how is this a tough situation' See the flop and then go from there. Fold if played back at. But its read dependant.

im so suprised it took this long to point this out. 90%+ losing players. now with that said, here is my .02 -- Ok. you wanted to help him out. Now obv. I don't know the particulars of the situation ... But wouldn't it be much more wise to make a small loan, that he possibly didn't have to pay back (since you wanted to help) or maybe work out some small payment plan' I don't know the particular of the situation so disregard if I'm wrong Then .... through proper Br management it could eventually become a lot more $ .. Assuming that he is a EXCEPTIONAL player .. which he ...

Re:Minneapolis players, DO NOT LEND MONEY to P5 user Iggyinthebit aka Pat Theiler
A gambling debt between players should be sacred. ^ on a side note, No one is "taking sides", bro, and I'm sure most people that read this will think twice before lending him money. But you are being really over defensive and childish, imho. You made the thread to warn players that may make the same mistake as you. You accomplished that. Now, you are just going on and on about nothing important, and giving internet threats the time of day. What do you care what some other screen name on a forum says to you' And even if you do care, make your point (you did) and move on. ...

I don't care what their "investigation" unveils. I'll never play there again. And I don't even play at stakes that people would try to cheat. But there is obviously no integrity @ Ub or Ap. Fool me once, shame on you.
