For what it's worth I'm at the point now where the majority of the time I'm playing I'm on some kind of upper. Have been into it for ages so does not really mess me up. The reason it is hard to get away from is I play significantly better when on amphetimines / BZP.

Poker virus?
Can people send you a virus if you are playing on a poker site' I have been getting some random stuff happening to my computer, leading up to now where the mouse doesn't work (have bought a new mouse its something internal) so my home computer is unusable. This stuff seems to happen after a weirdo online starts getting weird. Am getting a guy in. So, by being logged in to a poker site can a hacker send you a virus'

Calling someone a 'noob' and enjoying it in here is on the same level of immaturity as belittling someone because you were born before them. I understand that many kids who fall in love with the schoolyard mentality and never let go, but these kind of threads just taint what is otherwise a great forum.

I listen and have always listened to stuff like Guns & Roses, Pink Floyd that is considered to be 'cool.' My opinion is that music appreciation for the most part is determined on an individual level by influences other than the music itself. Most ppl when they hear music the enjoyment they get out of it comes in a large part from how it makes them feel about themselves, which is determined by society's (or maybe moreso your demographic's) perception of the band and of those who listen to the band, rather than the raw music quality. Just read through the Alice in chains thread which brought back some memories. I have always said that My Own Prison is one of the best albums of all time, mainly due to it's consistency. Bands like Foo Fighters have some great songs that are better than the best of Creed, but the quality doesn't hold true throughout the entire album. Last night I watched Loose Change 2. I know there has been considerable discussion in this forum already on the validity of the 9-11 attacks, but this thing was so convincing. Is there something I'm missing, or does the flat-out evidence in this documentary not prove beyond a doubt to any logical, reasonable person that 9-11 was in fact a 'psychological attack on the American people' by it's own government' And that to achieve this Bush etc were prepared to kill hundreds of it's own people in front of the world.
