A Response to Cardxactor's Article
First I think his general message is great. After a big score or terrific Sunday no one is suddenly Antonious and far too many have lost an insane amount trying to prove that theory wrong. He is also spot on that the best thing to do after a big score is to invest it and not blow it on a car or the ever popular hookers and blow as we will all need more money at some point. My caveat to his story is that the proliferation of cash value insurance as the greatest financial product on the market and the numerous ways its outstanding for most poker players may be a little misguided. What are the blinds in 4-8 game' SB=4 and BB=8 or SB=2 and BB=4 and Big bet is 8 like online. First time in vegas this weekend and dont want to sign up for a game over my head. Also wheres the best place to play low limit HE on the strip'

anybody buyin in the cash games for half. I feel like i can be more agressive and my risk is more acceptable. Idk ima person who cant let go of aces and likes to play draws in position agressively but idk im just starting in cash like so many out there.

i track my SNG's its just habit but after losing 40 buyins in 2 days i took a couple days off and started tracking big pairs for fun cause it seemed like i jsut couldnt win. Sickest thing is i have been a PXF member for 5 months and have seen every SNG video at least once and have worked with SNGPT alot. I know how to play and i know my stuff i just couldnt win. I even went down from 10 tbling to 8 and then to 4 so i could get reads and take ntoes on everyone. I dropped from 16's to 3.40's in the end but no love.

Im not one to complain but i am sure that stars is unbeatable. For two and a half months i have been cold decked constantly and without changing anything and trying to improve my game managed to do the mathematically impossible and go on a 220+ downswing in SNG's. For 2 years i was a 10-12% ROI guy and now any hand is met by Aces or a bad beat for 3 months straight. I documented it all and amazingly i lost 97 of 114 all in preflops with QQ-AA a feat i kept telling my self would change. so for those still chopping away keep at it but this dude is done forever.

how do you leanr more about hu sng's
i like playing these to mix it up but dont know alot about advanced strategy. I try to watch Dario and MU and some of the higher stakes ones and pick up some stuff but i dont know if anyone has really wrote or discussed advance stuff.

So the 6.50 turbos are harder thant he 16's
After a cash out and the worse run of cards in my life i was forced to drop down to the 6.5's. Is it me or are these impossible. I have successfully gone 3 for my last 40. Seems no one understands when to push so we are 6-8 handed at 2/400 and then it takes a miracle. thoughts''

i know it depends but i play 10-12 tables at a time so only read is stack sizes but theres 4 other peeps to look at and using Fischmans method i like to play like a robot and these decisions slow me down and i would like to cut down on my hesitation so i can play more tables.

I think the toughest spot in a SNG comes up pretty regularly for me and i never play it the same way twice it seems. Heres the scenario: BB= 100 or 150 Hero has 1250-1600 in chips game is 5 handed Hero UTG gets : 99,88,77,66, ATs, AJo/s Do you standard raise' becoming vlunerable to a push that usually means your racing for almost all your chips and seems to happen whenever you standard raise here Do you just open push even though you have 11-14 BB's I think limping is the worst imaginable but its tough to fold AJ and 99 5 handed Or am i just being a nit and should just gamble MOst of ...

Full tilt cash games and poker tracker
I was wondering if anyone uses poker ace or hud or something like it on full tilt. I used to use it on party and on stars it was all messed up on the screen. havent tried it yet on FTP cause i have been playing SNG's and am just getting back into cash.

2 things: 1. if you made under 150k and are not marrried or head of household your tax rate is 28% 2. why file as a professional poker player unless it is advantageous to do so. Yes that means your social security will be nill unless you contribute to it but hey who thinks its going to be there someday. Yes he has 10 bracelets but in 500 tournies Harrington has to be in the top 3 with his final tables against sick fields and a win finally if your letting in ungers first 2 champs and count hellmuths bracelets how come no one is talking about Brunson Dolly has 2 champs both with T2 which is sick and a 2nd, like chan. Stars getting all the party donks??
Most of us regulars on stars have noticed the increase in traffic since party disappeared. Full Tilt however i dont think has seen the same marginal increase. They are now #2 in the game and with rake back and good bonuses idk why players from Ongame and Party havent migrated there.

Al as long as its not the same name that is always the short stack your propping i cant imagine anyone could think its collusion at stars. BTW i just moved up to 27's so if im short and i could use the chips here ty in advance. Thing is if you got a big stack alla 1k-1.5k more than everyone and shortie has less than 2 BB your pretty much allin w/ any 2 against the mid stacks. Nothin better than having 3 guys playing for 3rd.
