I think thats a bit harsh Waco, the VAST majority of us will never ever have a sponsorship or anything like it (speaking as someone who simply plays low limit cash games online) and while I don't think anyone would begrudge the likes of yourself a deal, or Clements or Little for that matter, I do think it is fair to say that there are some dubious names up there. Annette's stated reasons for choosing betfair seemed reasonable to me, she deserves everything she gets IMO plus the fact that she is potentially so hugely marketable compared tp most players due to her quite unique story, etc- i'm ...

I can empathise and understand a lot of what you're saying here greg and i think its very difficult to explain tp parents if they don't exactly understand what it is you are doing. I would say that excercising good bankroll managment is a big thing in this situation and any other for that matter and probably explaining as much would be helpful. Generally, being honest with yourself and your father is positive and generally communication is key. Good luck with everything.

Advice re online poker aids
Sorry to interupt your WSOP chat but if you recommend which is the most useful tracking software, eg pokertracker, pokeroffice, poker-edge, etc. Also which of the training sites have most to be said for them eg, cardrunners, etc At the moment I play mostly 0.25/0.50 nlh cash games nut am curious about all the games and in terms of levels im sure il move upwards there eventually but that is my current level I'd like to get as many opinions as possible so all contributions welcome. Thanks guys

I would entirley agree with Jack_Ace75-thats almost exactly the route I took myself.Started with a $10 deposit,worked up playing 50c SNGs upwards-didnt let myself play $5 SNGs til I got to about $100.A couple of $2mtt wins let me play a bit higher.I know play mostly cash games .25/50 and up to about $2k. Grind it is defintely the best way to go-play within your bankroll.
