Sebastian consistently worked his way up in the PocketFives Top 100 worldwide rankings, beginning in December '08, when he took down the bwin Grand Tournament XXXII for $213,000. In September '09, he final-tabled the Titan Poker $1 Million Guaranteed for $60,000 (4th place) and also picked up a win in the PokerStars $100k Guaranteed for $27,200. He debuted in the PocketFives Top 100 in September '09, and was victorious in the Absolute Poker $100k Guaranteed in March '10 for $42,600. In May '10, he finished 4th in the PartyPoker Monthly Million for $88,600.
In November 2012, the former #1 player in the PocketFives Rankings landed in seventh in the Full Tilt $500K GTD and book a payday of $16,000. The exact same weekend, he chopped the PokerStars Sunday 500 and earned $59,000, the largest total in the deal. The next month, he closed out 2012 with a bang by winning the PartyPoker $100K High Roller for $27,000.
2013 saw him drive to a sixth place finish in the PokerStars Sunday $100 Rebuy, cashing out for $15,000. In May 2013, he final tabled the MiniFTOPS Main Event for $52,000. PocketFivers finished in four of the top five spots in that tournament.
