WTF Jamie Gold Unbelievable how many people on this thread say they have no problem with Gold dumping off like this. Are there really that many ignorant players on P5' It is straight up against the rules and he should definately have been penalized in some way. You can't just do whatever you want with your chips because you paid the entry fee, you still must obey the rules. LOL at no-rule-aments! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Darvin Moon doesn't accept sponsorships The poker sites could use this to their advantage. Just show all the dumb moves he's made so far, and say if he were a member of their site he could have "played and chatted" with the pros, and learned what not to do instead of the horrendous plays he's been making. I want first dibs on the new poker term "I just got mooned" - when your opponent makes a horrible play and still wins, defying all laws of poker and probability. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Abraham Korotk Actually wins Womens event, refuses chop with woman who needs money for breast cancer. This story keeps getting better and better. Now there is soft-play/collusion involved. C'mon Borgata, disqualify both of them! Towards the end of the story: "Each acknowledged that earlier in the contest Korotki, after hearing from Rowe about her illness, purposely played a weak hand against her in hopes of helping her build her chip stack (she doubled her amount by winning the hand)." Re:Abraham Korotk Actually wins Womens event, refuses chop with woman who needs money for breast cancer. I would like to know what some of the top pro's think about this. It's utterly ridiculous hearing the crap that's been posted on the 3 threads about this so far. I would love to hear what Annie Duke, who by the way, CHOSE not to enter the women's event at the WSOP in 2004, and instead went on to win the Omaha 8 tourney, because she went after the bigger prize, because she was a professional. This guy probably parks in "Expectant Mother's" parking spots also - which, by the way, is not a crime like Handicapped spaces would be. As the beer commercials go - ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Borgata Open Women's Event - MAN Playing! I guess Mr Korotki wasn't the first guy to think of entering a womens event. Obviously you do have to be a douche to stoop this low. I like the comment in the article about the big Milwaukee Light can falling on the guy - "men should act like men". Agreed. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Borgata Open Women's Event - MAN Playing! All I can say is if I see him tomorrow I'm slugging him in the gut. What a disgrace to the game. Just because his vagina itched a little, doesn't give him the right to enter a woman's event, even if you can't legally turn him away. And c'mon Borgata, you are the class of AC, this puts you right up there with the Taj on the slimyness scale, grow a set and do something about this. I think all the chicks who got knocked out should gang up and beat the crap out of him later tonight. There are some tough broads in AC who could put a hurtin' on him, for sure! Borgata Open Women's Event - MAN Playing! That's right, there is a man playing in the womans event and he is the chip leader. How this is even allowed is beyond me. Whats next, 21 year-olds in the senior event (although it was only 40 at the Summer Open). What are your thoughts on this. Let the fun begin! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Antonius, Cloutier & Adams turned away from Main Event Harrahs has the right to change anything they want in any tourney, which they do all the time. Like only playing 4 levels on 1a and 1b instead of 5 like posted on website. 2 years ago my tourney was turned into a 3 day instead of a 2 day tourney on a vote by the final table. I would have much rather played it out than come back another day. It completely threw off my momentum but I had to deal with it. And if you are coming from another country with 7 plane/helichopper legs do yourself a favor and pre-register. It was handled wrong though. People need to be more evenly spread out over 4 days. Re:Main Event sign up numbers as of 11 PM PST Thursday July 2 Last year Day 1A had only 1297 players. I'm looking for an 8% increase in numbers to win a over/under bet (I have over 7288) with a buddy. Last years numbers: 1A - 1297 1B - 1158 1C - 1928 1D - 2461 The way it sounds, there are more than 1500 today with spillover into the Brasilia room. I think There will be at least 500 more from PokerStars alone with the Supernova promotion. If anyone is at the WSOP, just glance at the big board, it should have the currently registered number on it. Keep us posted. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Best Poker Chat Put Downs!! In my experience, I've found that the laws of physics tend to apply to poker players as well. A fish in motion tends to stay in motion. Once a fish, always a fish. I got players in my home game for years, that just seem to get worse and love the abuse of the other players. I don't know what else to say. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Question about SB calling/raising in cash game in Vegas Playing 1/2 NL at Harrahs, I'm the BB. Entire table calls until it gets to the SB who throws a $5 chip in with her $1 SB chip, doesn't announce anything and doesn't pull back the $1 chip. I'm assuming that is a raise as it is 2 chip and start folding when the dealer tells me it's my option. I tell the dealer that the SB just raised to $6 and he says it's only a call as she doesn't have another $1 chip in her stack. So I say it's 2 chips and she didn't pull back the $1 chip therefor it's a raise. Dealer says that's the rule. Half the table agreed and ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:non WSOP events in Vegas during June? I am staying at Caesars on the 20th-26th of June, and when I'm not at the Rio I will definately play these. Best structure overall and most players. As far as cheap hotel rates, if you play at any Harrah's properties, just plug your Total Rewards number into their reservation system at and you will be sure to get a good rate somewhere. I'm paying $65 total for the 6 nights at Caesars. Imperial Palace and Harrah's were even cheaper. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
